SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person died and two others were injured, and Coast Guard crews rescued 17 others after a mega yacht collided with a fishing vessel off the coast of Imperial Beach Friday night. The 332-foot yacht, Attessa IV, crashed into the 65-foot sportfisher vessel, Prowler, just before 8 p.m. about nine miles off the shore of Imperial Beach, according to the Coast Guard.The collision caused extensive damage to the right side of the Prowler.One man was airlifted to UCSD Hillcrest and died at the hospital, the Coast Guard confirmed. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person is dead after his SUV careened off Interstate 5 near Pacific Beach Tuessday.A driver was traveling on northbound I-5 near Garnet Ave. just before 2 p.m. when a witness tells 10News the white Toyota RAV 4's passenger-side wheels became caught on the freeway guardrail. As the vehicle continued it fell off I-5, traveled down an embankment, and landed on its top on Garnet Ave. below the freeway. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are asking for the public’s help identifying several suspects they say robbed a man before threatening him with a gun.The robbery happened on August 11 around 5:24 p.m. near the Forever 21 at Fashion Valley Mall.Police say the two suspects approached a 27-year-old and asked to use his iPhone before grabbing it and running away.When the victim ran after both men, the second suspect pulled a gun out of his waistband and told the victim he “did not want any of this.”RELATED: 0,000 stolen cello returned to ownerFearing he would be shot, the victim stopped chasing the suspects, who were last seen running toward Friars Road.
