Vista Way was closed over three months ago due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but on Saturday, June 20, guests will be allowed to return.In a press release, officials said, “Boomers Vista will build upon its longstanding commitment to cleanliness and safety by implementing a series of measures following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and best practices within the amusement and attractions industries.”The following measures will be in place at the Vista facility:-- The center and mini golf course will operate under limited capacity-- Face coverings/masks required for all guests and staff members; kids under 3 won’t be required to wear face coverings, guests can remove masks when eating-- Employees will be we wearing personal protective equipment such as face shields and gloves-- Six feet of social distancing between parties are required; markers are posted throughout the property, including parking lots and entrances-- Temperature checks will be conducted for all guests and workers upon entry-- Guests and all staff are being asked to frequently wash hands-- Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the center-- Staff will carry out frequent sanitization of high-touch surfaces and rides and high-traffic locationsFacility General Manager Garrett Gross said, “The health and safety of our Guests and Team Members continues to be our number one priority as we work to welcome guests back to the Park. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Dramatic dash camera video shows the moment two cars sped along San Diego’s State Route 94, leading one of the drivers to lose control and crash. The race happened Thursday just after 8 a.m. near the College Grove avenue exit of westbound SR-94. Video shows two sedans, an Audi and a BMW, drive up fast behind the witness' vehicle and pass him, before the BMW crashes into an unsuspecting driver.“Just a complete surprise,” said a witness who shared his video with 10News and requested to remain anonymous. The witness was taking his mother to the doctor when the sedans approached him from behind. “I just see them come out of nowhere and spin out, and runs into the back of the car,” said the witness. “In real time, I didn’t even see the other car.” “My first thought was, he was running from the cops,” the witness told 10News. The witness said the BMW driver involved in the crash stopped to check on the innocent victim, then went back across the road. No one was injured in the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP is investigating what officers say is possibly a racing crash. No arrests have been made. “Ain’t no real reason to go that fast with that many people on the road,” the witness said. “He completely totaled the back of that guy’s car and there could have been a kid back there.” 1348

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Firefighters responded after a fire broke out in an abandoned building in San Diego’s Lincoln Park neighborhood Saturday morning. The fire started inside a building on Ocean View Boulevard and 47th Street around 9:30 a.m. Large plumes of black smoke could be seen from miles away. The building that caught fire is owned by a nearby church. According to a church official, the building was used to help house the homeless. The official told 10News the church recently told those staying in the building they had to leave after several incidents.At this time, it’s unclear what started the fire or if anyone was injured. "This fire has been stopped. Crews will be here for a few hours. Please use caution if you are in the area but take alternate routes if possible," San Diego Fire-Rescue said in a Tweet. 833
