A preschool teacher was arrested on Wednesday after deputies say admitted to biting a 2-year-old student on the face.Heather Marcotte, 28, has been arrested on a charge of felony cruelty to a juvenile in Louisiana.The mother of a 2-year-old student called the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office saying that when she picked her son up from school, she noticed the bite mark on his cheek.The mother said an administrator at the school informed her that her son’s teacher reported that she left the mark on the child "when her mouth accidentally hit his face" and that the teacher had been terminated following the incident, according to the Sheriff's office.Marcotte admitted to deputies that she bit the child after she became frustrated and agitated with his behavior. A Michigan lawmaker has been removed from her committee assignments after telling Trump supporters to "tread lightly" in a since-deleted video on Facebook.The comments by State Rep. Cynthia Johnson, a Democrat representing Detroit, came days after she made national headlines by sharing threatening voicemails calling for her to be lynched. The caller was upset with Johnson's actions in a hearing with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who was seeking to overturn the results of the presidential election in the state. On Tuesday evening, Johnson posted a three-minute video to Facebook that concluded with language that Trump supporters took as a direct threat."So, this is just a warning to you Trumpers. Be careful. Walk lightly. We ain’t playing with you. Enough of the shenanigans. Enough is enough," Johnson said. "And for those of you who are soldiers, you know how to do it. Do it right. Be in order. A new technology is coming to airports to help with passenger screening from home to plane. Denver International Airport will soon be the first to test Daon’s IdentityX platform. It creates a digital identity for each passenger that can be used at kiosks and e-gates, then help travelers schedule times to go through security and get to terminals.That digital identity, called Glide, will also include biometric data and be used for passengers to show their health status using a badge on their cell phone.
