Victoria's Secret CEO Jan Singer has resigned amid a sales slump and competition from young companies challenging the brand's grip on the lingerie industry.The Wall Street Journal first reported Singer's departure last week. Flashy fashion shows, push-up bras and celebrity models aren't drawing people in like they used to. Instead, women are clamoring for more products with a better fit.Online stores like ThirdLove, Lively and True & Co. are using tech and harnessing data to offer custom sizes and new products.Other parts of the L Brands business have been struggling. The company announced in September that it is closing Bendel's website and all 23 of its stores, including the store's iconic Fifth Avenue location in New York, in January 2019 because of sluggish sales.A change in Victoria's Secret leadership may not be enough to convince experts that L Brands is turning itself around."Jan was not the problem," Jefferies analyst Randal Konik wrote last week following rumors of Singer's exit. John Jenkins has tested positive for COVID-19, the school announced Friday.According to the school, Jenkins was in self-isolation this week after learning that a colleague "with whom he has been in regular contact" tested positive for the virus. VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) — A highly controversial Valley Center horse rescue is being sued for millions of dollars and now faces eviction.According to the lawsuit filed by the property owner, the nonprofit owes more than ,000 in rent. The suit also alleges that the nonprofit “maliciously and abusively” destroyed parts of the ranch. 10News first reported on HiCaliber Horse Rescue in February when the founder was accused, in part, of raising thousands of dollars to rescue horses from slaughter before euthanizing them by gunshot. The nonprofit said that all the bad publicity hurt its fundraising, so it began shutting down in April. However, it still hasn’t left the property. A judgement has now been issued to evict the nonprofit.In the lawsuit, the property owner is asking for more than million to compensate for property damage and lost rent.10News reached out to both the founder of the rescue and the property owner. VERO BEACH, Fla. -- For Crystal Smith, the midday heat in Florida isn't her biggest challenge. Living in a shelter, the single mom is trying to get back on her feet.She was one of the first people working at the "Dignity Food Truck" in Vero Beach."I've just been making food, certain dishes, just learning. (The organizers) give you on the job training and actually give you a job," said Smith.Set up by the Source, a Christian Ministry outreach in Vero Beach, it is a new program for the homeless and unemployed."What our students lack is real-time training in front of real customers. That's what Dignity Food Truck gives them. It gives them real exposure in real-time, made-to-order food," said Anthony Zorbaugh, the executive director of the Source.Chef Henry Restrepo said this is his most important mission in two decades of cooking."We train them for the culinary so they can get their life back," said Restrepo.Money raised goes back into the program.The truck was made possible by a 0,000 grant from the philanthropic group Impact 100."We love the mission. We love the project itself. UPDATE (3:31 p.m.): SDPD says 12-year-old Rhode has been found safe.SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police on Saturday were searching for a missing 12-year-old girl.Police said 12-year-old "Rhode" was last seen in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. No further information was immediately released.She's described as 5'4", about 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
