China's automotive market is showing signs of a slowdown, with a sales drop in July, the second monthly dip within six months, but the country's leading industry association is maintaining its estimate of slight growth for the year.

China's auto market has seen slumping sales for 16 consecutive months. Sales for the first 10 months of the year totaled 20.65 million units, with a 9.7 percent year-on-year decline.

China will encourage the role of the internet and big data in poverty reduction and continue to develop rural e-commerce and internet-based healthcare, according to a plan jointly released by regulators including the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the National Development and Reform Commission.

China will strengthen tax and fee reduction efforts this year, said the National Development and Reform Commission on Friday.

China will promote market-based allocation of factors of production including land, labor and capital, while accelerating the development of the market of technology and data factors, it said.
