WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — West Palm Beach says the number of police cars that had to be pulled off the streets due to engine failure has risen to 49.City Administrator Jeff Green said at this point they believe a tainted fuel shipment in the middle of March is to blame. All of those cars had traces of biodiesel in their tanks, which are meant for unleaded only.West Palm Beach Police Public Information Officer David Lefont said it is not impacting public safety since the agency is supplementing with rental cars.“We have captains driving around in minivans,” Lefont said.Seventeen patrol cars have gotten new engines and are back in service.The other affected cars are non-marked cars.Green said Miami-Dade County police reported they had to pull 120 cars with the same issue.In West Palm Beach the cars affected are all Ford, which is why the automaker is investigating the case as well.But Green said at this point they believe it was the fuel shipment. Twenty-four hours earlier, Biden trailed in the state, but was bolstered by mail-in voting numbers on Friday.Biden also leads in the states of Arizona, Nevada and Georgia.Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has vowed to fight the vote count in the four aforementioned states.“Joe Biden should not wrongfully claim the office of the President. I could make that claim also. Legal proceedings are just now beginning!” Trump tweeted on Friday.If the results hold, Trump would become the first one-term president since George H.W. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - For better or worse.Attorneys in South Florida say that during the COVID-19 pandemic, more couples are requesting prenuptial agreements.For Amanda Locker, her wedding day felt like a fairy tale."Was only thinking marriage, kids, and being married forever," Locker said.10 years after tying the knot..."Two beautiful children, but our lives did change. Could I imagine being married today to the same gentleman? Absolutely not," Locker said.Now the former stay-at-home mom imagines if she would have had a prenuptial agreement."I think I would want to sign one to protect myself," Locker said.According to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, 60% of family law attorneys surveyed reported an overall rise in prenuptial agreements in recent years."There’s been a lot of postnuptial agreements, prenuptial agreements," attorney Abigail Bebe said.WPTV called six local attorneys and five of them said during the pandemic they’ve seen an increase of prenuptial agreements. Bebe said you should start the process at least three months before the wedding."It’s really the ideal time to make plans so when it comes to that if it ever does, there are really fewer things to fight about," Bebe said.Licensed clinical social worker and family therapist Alyse November said the pandemic is bringing up difficult financial conversations for couples."We want to hear, really hear and when we hear we can repeat it and ask somebody did I get it? When 4-year-old Mateo forgot his favorite toy, Bear, in San Diego during a recent trip, employees of a local hotel made sure Bear had a good time in America’s Finest City.Mateo and his parents visited San Diego earlier this month. They didn’t realize they left Bear in their hotel room at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. Employees were able to find Bear, but made sure he enjoyed his extended vacation in San Diego before sending him back to Los Angeles. Bear enjoyed the hotel pool and water slide, lunch, and the spa before his trip back home. Hotel employees took photos of Bear’s adventures and sent him back home to his family, along with a few goodies for Mateo.Mateo and his family are relatives of 10News reporter Melissa Mecija. 744
