Investigators were able to identify him because he wore the same clothing, drove the same vehicle and used a similar gun and backpack.In his final attempt, Bolusan returned to the M Resort on Oct. 28 and was able to use the same game plan to make away with ,480 – or so he thought.Bolusan was wearing different clothes during this robbery attempt but was driving the exact same vehicle, parked in the exact same spot, and entered the exact same doors as before. This led to M Resort security members apprehending Bolusan before he could get away with the cash.During the arrest, it was determined that he was driving a white 2010 Toyota Camry and that his gun was not real.Bolusan was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on several counts of attempted robbery, burglary. 1286

PHOENIX, Arizona — Cell phone video of a boy repeatedly punching a girl in a sixth-grade class at Alfred F. Garcia Elementary School in Phoenix has gone viral, and the mother of the victim is upset with the school for not contacting her after the beating. The 12-year-old girl who was punched did not want to show her face or give her name, but says a lot of kids in school have seen the video. "It's gotten to the point where it's so viral, that they've made memes about it," said the victim.The girl used to be friends with the boy who is seen punching her, but she claims she made a joke months ago about his sister. She says she feels the attack was planned and some kids pulled out their phones to record it.  "I looked at the phone, and I knew it was coming," said the victim. "That's why I didn't do anything about it."The victim says she didn't tell her mom because she didn't want her to worry. "It was hard telling her because I don't like seeing my mom cry," said the victim. "It hurts."But her mom, Antoinette Contreras saw it days later.  "It just feels like all my fears and worst thoughts happened," said Contreras. "They came true."Contreras says she is shocked the school never contacted her. She finally got through to the principal on Thursday. "My question to her was, 'Why did you not contact me?'" said Contreras. "This happened on Monday. It is now Thursday."And while she wants the boy to face consequences, more importantly, Contreras wants him to get help. "I come from, what we call the ghetto, south Phoenix," said Contreras. "A lot of times these kids are rejected. They're the rejects of the world. The outcasts. The misfits. They're the ones that no one cares about. Because the parents don't care about them at home. And the staff doesn't care about them at school. And no one on the streets cares about these kids."Contreras says she plans to pull all of her children out of the Murphy Elementary School District. (KGTV) — An unusual fossil deposit was discovered during construction at the State Route 11/Otay Mesa East Port of Entry Project, yielding remains that may be up to 28 million years old.The state Department of Transportation says skeletal remains of extinct mammals — including camels, oreodonts, rodents, and possibly a large carnivore — were discovered at the site of the SR-11 and Otay Mesa East Port of Entry project.The fossils are estimated to be somewhere between 16 to 28 million years old, or Earth's Tertiary Period, and could provide more insight into our area's history.Paleo Monitors from the San Diego Natural History Museum found the remains in what appears to be a new geologic formation that has yet to be mapped in the region. The area also contains plant fossils and volcanic bombs (or pieces of rock ejected by a volcano), the DOT says.The Nat will curate and catalog the fossils into its paleontology program.The construction project, which will create a new port of entry into the country, will continue as planned, the state said. 1080

Police have apprehended a suspect in Phoenix after a lengthy pursuit on Tuesday afternoon. According to Phoenix police, the vehicle in the pursuit was part of an armed robbery investigation. At one point during the pursuit, the suspect carjacked a woman in Tolleson, Arizona.Watch chase in video player below.  333
