Christmas 2019 will be coming a bit earlier for "Wonder Woman 2" fans.Warner Bros. has announced that the film will be released on November 1, 2019 -- six weeks earlier than had originally been slated.There was much excitement at this year's San Diego Comic-Con International when it was announced that the sequel to this year's blockbuster superhero movie would be coming out in mid-December 2019.With the film now being pushed up, it will no longer be in competition with "Star Wars: Episode IX," which is slated for a December 2019 release."Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins are both signed on for the sequel.The first film has grossed more than 2 million since its release in June, and Gadot can be seen next as part of the ensemble cast of superheroes in "Justice League," which comes out Friday.WATCH: Gal Gadot says Wonder Woman is the 'Glue' of the team 894

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Chula Vista boxer Andrea Medina has a chance to fulfill a lifelong dream before she even turns 21.Monday, she'll begin fighting in the Team USA Olypmic Team Trials for boxing, with a chance to go to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo."I feel like this is my time," she says. "It's what I've been working for. It's exciting. I'm ready."Medina has been boxing since she was 5 years old. She's already won 16 National Championships.At the trials, she'll face 7 other women vying for two spots at the Team USA training center in Colorado Springs."I've already fought half of them," she says of the competition. "And I've sparred against the other half. So I know who I'm going up against."Medina's father, Juan, is a former boxer and serves as her trainer. He says she's the favorite to advance out of the double-elimination tournament."I'm biased, but if I were to put a percentage on it, I'd say we have a high 90's percent chance," he says.He also says he's proud of the way his daughter has dedicated her life to the sport and the pursuit of her dream."You have to prioritize. You can't chose other things over boxing," he says. "Boxing is a jealous sport. So you have to pretty much surrender yourself to the sport. She made that choice and now we're here.'In addition to her boxing, Medina is also a full-time student at San Diego State. She's majoring in Criminal Justice.She says representing San Diego and her country in the Olympics would mean "everything.""This has been my dream since I was 8 years old and started competing," she says. CINCINNATI -- Decades ago, most Americans would have balked at the idea of climbing into a perfect stranger's car and trusting said stranger to drive them home safely. In your own childhood, your parents probably told you that getting in a stranger's car was a one-way ticket to becoming a milk carton celebrity.As of 2016, however, about 15 percent of Americans used and trusted ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft, which encourage users to do just that. The expectation of a quick ride in a regular-looking car means some of those users, according to Sgt. Eric Franz, have hopped in the wrong vehicle by mistake."We've had a couple of reports over the years," he said. "Back around Thanksgiving, we had one documented case where a lady walked out, she thought she was getting into her Uber, and she got into another car. She reported that she had been sexually assaulted."In Los Angeles, one man was even arrested for posing as a rideshare driver with the intention of preying on female passengers.Scripps station WCPO in Cincinnati asked Ryan Higgins, who estimated he uses a ridesharing service at least once a week, if he had ever taken steps to make sure he was getting in the right car."Honestly, now that you say that, I don't think I've ever done anything," the Cincinnati resident said. "I think they just say, 'Hey, Ryan?' or they say my name, and I just go for it."Franz said intoxicated would-be riders are the most likely to make a mistake and put themselves in a vulnerable position, but anyone can benefit from a few simple safety tips.First, make sure you've got the correct license plate before you get in a car. Uber and Lyft both display the plate number as soon as it matches you with a driver so you can spot the correct vehicle.Next, get into the back seat, not the passenger seat. If you have gotten into a car with a person of ill intent, it's easier to escape from the back than the front, where they might be able to physically restrain you."(If) somebody's doing something inappropriate, it becomes very obvious very quickly," he said. "You can get out of the car right away."Finally, if you connect with the correct person but they still seem a bit shady, let a family member or friend know where you are. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The Port of San Diego and City of Chula Vista reached a milestone today, approving the financial agreement for the Chula Vista Bayfront resort hotel and convention center project."It's taken us 30 years to get to this day, and it's certainly worth it," Chula Vista Mayor, Mary Casillas Salas said. Officials also authorized a revenue-sharing agreement between the two agencies.The entire project will cost .1 billion. Of that, RIDA Developement will invest 5 million. The city and the port authority will pay for a combined 0+ million. Port commissioners said it is a large investment for an even larger long-term reward. "As far as what we'll get back, we will see an immediate impact by the fact that it's going to create 10,000 construction jobs, and it's going to put about a billion dollars in the local and regional economy," Moore said. RELATED: South Bay residents get an idea of massive bayfront developmentIn August of 2017, the City gave residents a better idea of what the Bayfront will look like in the next 20 years.The anchor for the Bayfront is set to be a .1 billion resort hotel and convention center that the city says will be built by Houston-based RIDA Development.The current Chula Vista RV Park will also move roughly a mile away to make room for construction. The Port of San Diego is also finalizing plans to replace it with a new RV park.RELATED: First new development in decades expected on Chula Vista's Bayfront?According to the city, the project is entitled for 600,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and marina use and nearly 3,000 hotel rooms.The city says the Bayfront is also designed to create new public parks.
