The overall quality of a new, model year 2019 vehicle was no better than in 2018, despite the average vehicle price increasing from year to year.In a study released Wednesday by J.D. Power and Associates, it measured the number of problems experienced during the first 90 days of ownership. Based on this standard, the study found 13 brands improved, while 18 worsened. Overall, it found that there were 93 problems per 100 vehicles with new cars. Some models, on average, had more than one problem per vehicle. The study found that Genesis was the best performing brand in 2019 with 63 problems per 100 vehicles. Genesis was followed by Kia with 70 problems per 100 vehicles. Power. “However, some traditional problems crept up this year including paint imperfections, brake and suspension noises, engines not starting and the ‘check engine’ light coming on early in the ownership experience. Three suspects have been identified in the murder of Joshua Brown, a witness in the trial of former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger, who was convicted of murdering her neighbor Botham Jean.Jacquerious Mitchell, Michael Mitchell and Thaddeous Green have been named as suspects in the shooting death of Brown, authorities said Tuesday.Jacquerious Mitchell, 20, is in custody, Assistant Chief of Police Avery Moore said at a news conference Tuesday. The other two suspects are being sought.According to Dallas police, the suspects traveled from Alexandria, Louisiana, to purchase drugs from 28-year-old Brown. According to Jacquerious, Green, 22, contacted Brown to purchase drugs, authorities said. The two got into a physical altercation, police said.
