UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- China and Africa should work hand in hand to fulfill their dreams, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said here Monday.

Over the past two decades, China has put forward a series of new ideas in promoting regional cooperation, and played a leading role in developing relations with ASEAN and building the ASEAN community and the East Asia community.

These reform measures will greatly help "ensure the lawful and independent use of judicial and procuratorial power, improve the judicial power operating mechanism with clear rights and liabilities, enhance judicial transparency and credibility, and better protect human rights," Xi said.

The Third Plenary Session of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee has made overall arrangements for the comprehensive and deepening reforms. The further opening-up and reform will bring broader prospects for cooperation between the two countries, Yang said.

The Chinese Premier also called for international cooperation between auditors in perfecting the global financial regulation rules and safeguarding the stability of world economy.
