An 87-year-old grandmother using a knife to cut dandelions in the woods near her rural Georgia home last week was taken down by a police Taser and arrested, according to a police report.Martha Al-Bishara was arrested for criminal trespass and obstruction of a police officer, according to the report. Chatsworth Police said Al-Bishara did not drop a steak knife despite several commands and a demonstration by officers. At one point, she walked toward officers with the knife, police said.Police had gone to a wooded area near a Boys and Girls Club last Friday after an employee called 911 to report that an elderly woman was walking around with a knife in the community, around 80 miles north of Atlanta."There's a lady walking on the bike trails, she has a knife and she won't leave," the caller told a dispatcher. "She told me she doesn't speak English, and she's walking up the trail with a knife towards me.""It looks like she's walking around looking for something, vegetation to cut down or something. She has a bag too," the caller said.The Boys and Girls Club employee told the dispatcher that the woman did not seem to be a threat. "But she came at you with a knife, though, right?" the dispatcher asked. An Okeechobee, Florida boy on the autism spectrum is facing his fifth charge, and the boy's mother said she plans on fighting them all, while working to get her son back in school soon.The video his mom shot went viral last year.Scripps station WPTV in West Palm Beach is now learning there's more trouble for John Benjamin Haygood, the little boy in the middle of it all.His mother, Luanne Haygood, says the state has filed four additional felony charges against John Benjamin.She says the felonies, all of them for felony battery, came as a bit of a surprise, as the incidents in question took place in 2015.“I don't see the point in putting up four more charges that happened when he was 8 years old,” Haygood said. "There's a reason why we don't arrest 8-year-olds."Last year, she recorded video on her phone as school resource deputies took John Benjamin into custody, charging him with felony battery on a school employee.The now 11-year-old is on the autism spectrum, and his mom says it was an autism-related episode.The state prosecutor, however, said John Benjamin has more than 50 other documented incidents of physically aggressive behavior towards students and teachers.“There's so many 7- to 12-year-old boys with autism that are getting arrested for meltdowns and behavior that can be avoided of the schools know how to react,” Haygood said.Haygood said she is fighting back. “He's regressing educationally, he's regressing emotionally, he's not been around other children,” Haygood said.John Benjamin is set to have his next court date next month.WPTV reached out to the state attorney's office, but no one was available for comment Tuesday. 1715

Once the surface is wet, let it stand for 10 minutes and then rinse, the press release says.In March, the EPA released a list of household products that kill the coronavirus. An 11-year-old boy is dead after being shot by his brother Monday night in Streetsboro, Ohio, according to authorities.Streetsboro police were called to Alden Drive just before 10 p.m. for reports of a shooting.Streetsboro Police Chief Darin Powers said an 11-year-old boy was shot by his 13-year-old brother in what "appears to be a premeditated act."The weapon used was a handgun that the 13-year-old stole from his grandfather's home, according to police.The police department said paramedics took the 11-year-old to University Hospital Portage Medical Center, where the victim was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.The 13-year-old brother was arrested and charged with aggravated murder and was taken to the Portage County Juvenile Detention Center.It appears the 11-year-old boy was shot in the back, according to police.Police are not releasing any names because they are juveniles.Lieutenant Patricia Wain, of the Streetsboro Police Department, spoke to reporters on Tuesday about the fatal shooting."It doesn't happen here.
