CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) — A 52-year-old modeling photographer was arrested this week in Carlsbad, accused of sexually assaulting a teenager.Robert Koester, of Carlton, Ore., was arrested on Tuesday at a Carlsbad Blvd. residence after the reported sexual assault of a 16-year-old during a modeling shoot, according to Carlsbad Police.Police were alerted to the reported sexual assault on Monday after the teenager said she met with Koester, who was subcontracted by Frank, a Carlsbad-based modeling agency. MAP: Track crime happening in your neighborhoodThe victim said during the photo shoot, Koester sexually assaulted her. She left the shoot early and told her father about the incident.Police investigated and found Koester at the residence, which he was temporarily renting. Police said other evidence was collected at the scene.Investigators are working with the modeling agency, Frank, to identify other possible victims. (KGTV) — A German father and son had the summer vacation of a lifetime spanning seven countries, eight cities, and eight theme parks.Better yet, they pulled off the feat in a mere 13 days.Dieter Deussen and his five-year-old son, Julian, finished the last leg of their journey to visit all Legoland theme parks in the world Tuesday. (KGTV) - A brush fire broke out in a training range on Camp Pendleton Friday, creating a plume of smoke visible above North San Diego County.The fire started at 11 a.m. near the center of the base in the Basilone/San Mateo area, officials said. By 3:30 p.m., 50 acres had burned.Helicopters were deployed to drop water and fire retardant.Ground crews from Camp Pendleton and Orange County Fire also battled flames in 90-degree weather.Officials said there were no structures threatened by the fire. 529
