In post-Brexit Britain, trips to the European Union will get a little more expensive for millions of Brits in search of a continental break.The European Commission confirmed on Friday that UK travelers will be required fill out an online form and cough up €7 (.90) for visa-free travel, which will be valid for three years.Natasha Bertaud, a spokeswoman for the commission's President Jean-Claude Juncker, likened the "simple form" to the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) scheme used by the United States -- which requires travelers to pay to apply for permission to enter the country.She also pointed out that the EU's version, called ETIAS, will be "way cheaper."But this all comes with a major caveat. If the UK crashes out of the EU with no agreement in place, Brits will be required to get a visa to travel to the EU, a commission spokeswoman told Reuters on Friday.ETIAS, which is expected to come into force in 2021, will apply to countries outside the EU whose citizens can currently travel in Europe visa free. INDIANAPOLIS -- A suspected drunk driver whose middle name is ¡°Tequila¡± crashed into three cars across from the Children¡¯s Museum of Indianapolis before fleeing on foot Sunday morning, according to police.The crash happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday in Indianapolis, just across from the museum.According to an incident report, 33-year-old Alisha Tequila Jefferson was driving a 2006 Dodge Charger when she collided with three vehicles parked on the street.Police said Jefferson fled on foot, but was found hiding in the bushes a short distance away.Jefferson was arrested on preliminary charges of OWI, driving while suspended and leaving the scene of an accident. 682

Issues of race relations has become a major campaign issue in this year¡¯s presidential election, with the issue getting pushed to the forefront following the Memorial Day death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody.During Thursday¡¯s presidential debate, President Donald Trump declared himself the ¡°least racist person in this room¡± after he decried the Black Lives Matter movement.¡°The first time I ever heard of Black Lives Matter, they were chanting ¡®pigs in a blanket,¡¯ talking about police,¡± Trump said. ¡°¡®Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon.¡¯ I said that is a horrible thing. And they were marching down the street. And that was my first glimpse of the black lives matter. I thought it was a terrible thing.¡°As far as my relationships with all people, I think I have great relationships with all people. I am the least racist person in this room.¡±Both Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden had a spirited exchange about Biden¡¯s record on race relations. So far, he says the trade-off is paying off for both people and banks."I've never seen a coin shortage. We have had lows throughout time, but never anything we thought was a problem," he said. "But luckily, we were able to get out ahead of this."Some customers aren't even looking to cash in. Neil Buchanan of Community State Bank in Wisconsin says many customers are simply exchanging the coins for bills and not taking the 5% incentive."We've had a lot of people come in and say, "No, no. I don't want the bonus. I just heard that there was a problem. I have this coin. In the span of less than 24 hours, Delta strengthened from a tropical storm into a power category 4 hurricane with its sights set on the Yucatan Peninsula.Moments after reporting Delta had become a major hurricane Tuesday morning, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said that the storm had strengthened further into category 4 status. According to a reading from a Hurricane Hunter aircraft, Delta has maximum sustained winds of 130 mph, as of Tuesday at 10 p.m. CT. The storm's top winds dropped slightly from 145 MPH.The NHC says Delta will bring "extremely dangerous storm surge" and other hurricane-like conditions to the Yucatan throughout the day Tuesday before briefly making landfall on Wednesday. The Yucatan Peninsula is home to many Mexican resort towns, including Canc¨²n and Playa del Carmen. Belize, a coastal country on the southern part of the peninsula, may also feel effects from Delta.While the NHC notes that there is "large uncertainty in track and intensity forecasts," Delta is currently expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coastline as a hurricane late in the week. Current forecasts have Delta making landfall anywhere from western Louisiana to the western Florida panhandle on early Saturday morning.Louisiana has taken the brunt of the impact of the 2020 hurricane season. Hurricanes Marco and Laura have already made landfall in the state, causing inland flooding and significant damage along the coast. Hurricane Sally also did significant damage nearby Gulf Shores, Alabama, when it made landfall in September.Delta became the 25th named storm on Monday in what has been an extremely active 2020 Atlantic hurricane season. 1667
