BEIJING, May 29 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Tuesday that the U.S. statement is contrary to the consensuses the two sides have previously reached in Washington.

At the joint press briefing, Wang said the two countries would enhance coordination on the SCO platform, and work together for fruitful outcomes of the upcoming SCO summit in east China's coastal city of Qingdao in June, with China taking the rotating chair.
On the SCO mechanism, Wang said China appreciates Belarus' involvement as an SCO observer and will continue to support Minsk playing a constructive role in pushing forward the organization's development.
China will also build platforms for Chinese and German companies in the third party cooperation, in a bid to make more opportunities and make the market larger, Wang said.
