SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Bystanders captured video of a truck involved in a crash near San Diego International Airport on Saturday speeding away from the scene.The video begins moments after a three-car crash on N. Harbor Drive at Lee Court around 9:30 a.m. A white truck reportedly slammed into the back of a Ford F-350 and sideswiped a sedan, according to the driver of the sedan, Kathleen Gleason. The driver of the white truck is then seen speeding away, creating a cloud of white smoke, with the driver-side front tire bent sideways. The driver first heads eastbound before turning around at McCain Road and heading westbound. A police vehicle is seen seconds later turning around and pursuing the truck.Gleason, a Lyft driver who was struck by the truck, told ABC 10News the suspect was determined to get out of the area quickly. She said she was in the middle of dropping off a passenger to the airport when she was struck. Thankfully, Good Samaritans gave the passenger a lift the rest of the way, she said.Gleason said police caught up with the driver and arrested the person. San Diego (KGTV) -- County leaders are taking steps to provide more access to coronavirus testing to some of the local communities hit hardest by the pandemic.The new outreach program will begin with a free new testing site at the Mexican Consulate at 1549 India St. starting at 8 a.m. Monday and will run until 3:30 p.m.No appointments are needed.The County of San Diego has been trying to expand testing and outreach in the Latino community, which has been the hardest hit by the coronavirus.Of the more than 42,000 confirmed cases in the county, Latinos account for 63% of that total.County and community leaders say the Consulate’s opening as a testing location will provide an accessible, safe way for San Diego’s Mexican and Latino communities to receive COVID-19 testing.The additional testing locations coming online in the coming weeks will function on a 14-day rotation. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- County Supervisor Jim Desmond said Friday that more businesses throughout San Diego County can reopen pending approval from health officials.Those businesses include nail salons, massages, and tattoo parlors.Supervisor tweeted out the statement Friday, saying: "Pending County Health Official's approval, next Friday personal services (nail salons, massages, tattoo parlors, etc.) will be able to open in San Diego County!"The news comes after county health officials allowed gyms, hotels, and bars, among other businesses to reopen beginning June 12.RELATED: San Diego County gyms, bars, movie theaters reopening June 12Those businesses, according to the county, were required to complete a "Safe Reopening Plan" and share it with their employees and display it where customers and patrons can see it.Businesses are also required to follow public health guidelines, including the use of face coverings, increased sanitation, and rotocals for social distancing. 989
