The pair were last seen at 5:45 a.m. Saturday in Upland, California, which is in San Bernardino County. Brandon Alexander is considered to be armed and dangerous.Brandon Alexander may have also taken the child's mother, according to Upland Police. Police say she is a white female in her early thirties. She has a restraining order against him, police said.Brandon Alexander is described as 5' 10" and 240 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. TUCSON, Arizona — An Arizona high school principal admitted on Facebook he changed the grades of seniors at the school, but claims his supervisor directed him to take that action. The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board of Pueblo High School in Arizona have voted to release a district report on the incident that has been kept confidential.The board released the following report:         The governing board is set to vote Wednesday, March 28 on whether to release a portion of the report by the law firm hired by the district.Pueblo High School principal Auggie Romero has come under fire in recent years over a grade changing scandal.  He's been on the hot seat after a teacher came forward to E.W. Scripps television station KGUN in Tucson — that Romero changed several seniors grades without her consent — a violation of state law. And she provided proof — her grade sheets."This is something that has never happened before in my 31 years as a teacher," said Yolanda Sotelo in 2016. Romeo even admitted on Facebook he changed the grades, but claimed his supervisor, Abel Morado, directed him to take that action. KGUN obtained a scathing memo written by Morado, who stated that wasn't the case. He stated that he had reminded Romero he needed to get the teacher to change grades and Romero's "failure to comply with the very simple directive caused all of the controversy." The memo also reveals the Deconcini law firm investigated the allegations and found Romero "did change the student's grades." KGUN requested the document through a public records request, but the district declined citing attorney-client privilege. Now the board is voting on whether to release the findings "concerning potential violations of the law: improper grade-changing, improper promotion, and discrimination.  1961

Unions representing about 35,000 Disney World workers say Disney is refusing to pay their members ,000 tax cut bonuses.Disney announced the ,000 bonuses last month for 125,000 U.S. employees. The company said at that time that the bonuses would go to full and part-time employees, including those represented by unions "currently working under existing union contracts."But the union members at Disney World are in the midst of contract negotiations. They say rank-and-file workers in December voted 93% against Disney's most recent offer of a 50-cent-an-hour raise over the next two years, coupled with a 0 signing bonus. Most unionized Disney World employees make less than an hour, according to the union.Only 3,000 make more than an hour. The union says the average hourly wage for its members is .71.Eric Clinton, president of the Unite Here local at the theme park, said Disney is forcing the union to accept that same rejected offer for its members to receive the ,000 bonus due to other Disney employees."In other words Disney said you can have ,000 if you agree to stay poor," he said in a video statement posted on the union's Facebook page. "Disney is discriminating against us for having a union locked in negotiations. Let us be clear, Disney cast members deserve a living wage. Two U.S. senators have filed an amendment to legislation that would replace Columbus Day with Juneteenth Day as a federal holiday.“In response to a bipartisan effort to give federal workers another day of paid leave by designating Juneteenth a federal holiday, we have offered a counterproposal that does not put us further in debt,” said Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) in a press release. “We support celebrating emancipation with a federal holiday, but believe we should eliminate a current holiday in exchange. We chose Columbus Day as a holiday that is lightly celebrated, and least disruptive to Americans’ schedules.”U.S. Senator John Cornyn announced mid-June that he was introducing a bipartisan bill that would make Juneteenth a federal holiday.“Juneteenth is a day in our history that redefined the meaning of freedom and equality in America,” said Senator James Lankford (R-OK). “Throughout our history, we have strived to become a more perfect union and Juneteenth was a huge step in attaining that goal.
