NAY PYI TAW, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Malaysian counterpart Anifah Aman on the sidelines of the series of Foreign Ministers Meetings on East Asia cooperation in Myanmar's capital of Nay Pyi Taw Friday.
They said that Egypt would like to cooperate with China in strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, new sources of energy, infrastructure, agriculture, as well as a joint effort to explore markets of other countries and regions so as to bring more benefits to the peoples of the two nations.
He praised Ljubljana-based Confucius Institute for its positive role in promoting cultural exchanges between Slovenia and China.
"Let me once again express sorrow and condolences to the next of kin, and to the families involved. We owe it to them to continue the search," Najib said.
The two sides vowed to deepen cooperation in the petroleum industry, kick-start Russia's supply of natural gas to China as soon as possible and jointly develop coal mines in Russia. The two also will consider jointly building power plants in Russia to increase power supply to China.
