BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping looked forward to a more enabling international environment for China's peaceful development as he delivered an address at a conference held here on Friday and Saturday.

A total of ten joint law enforcement drills and three joint inspections were conducted over a seven-month period, with 17 suspects detained and 56 illegal vessels seized. Counterterrorim drills were also staged, according to officials at the wrap-up meeting held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia.
"Our experts are currently studying these options. An intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on investment cooperation is also at work," he said.
