MILWAUKEE — Christopher R. Ward has been charged with second-degree reckless homicide in the death of 14-year-old Jada Wright. Police responded to the scene late last Wednesday night at their home on the city's northwest side. According to police, Jada has cerebral palsy, and Ward was her personal care worker. Initially, the 18-year-old defendant reported to police that Jada had complications with her feeding earlier that night. He said was not involved in her death, and claimed she had a history of injuring herself.Jada's school physical therapist said she never saw Jada injure herself. She also said Jada was missing from school for a month.Ward was taken into custody after an autopsy revealed blunt force trauma to her abdomen.After further questioning, Ward admitted he had become frustrated with the girl while trying to feed her through her feeding tube. She had maneuvered her tube out of her stomach, frustrating him further. In response, he punched her in the stomach. Ward reconnected her tube and left the room. Upon returning, he saw she had vomited on herself, and did not seek additional care for her or tell first responders about his actions.    1207

Nasim Aghdam, the woman accused of shooting and injuring multiple people at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno before turning the gun on herself, drove up from San Diego, according to KRON.Authorities said they believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. KRON reports that the woman shot her boyfriend and that the others injured were caught in the crossfire. Officials in San Bruno said Tuesday afternoon that three people were wounded and the suspect died of a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound.Police were called to the headquarters just before 1 p.m. and were on scene within two minutes.After arriving on scene, officers found a wounded victim outside the building before encountering a second person, who was likely a suspect, shot from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Officers later found two others wounded in a nearby business, officials said. Helicopter video shows hundreds of people running out of the building with their hands up after shots reportedly rang out.A witness reported hearing as many as 20 shots, according to KRON. MUNSON, Pa. — Three men have been charged with more than 1,400 counts for allegedly having sex with dogs, horses, a cow and a goat on a makeshift farm in Pennsylvania.Terry Wallace, 41; Matthew Brubaker, 32, and Marc Measnikoff, 34, all of Munson, Pennsylvania, were charged with endangering children, corruption of minors, cruelty to animals and 1,460 counts of sexual intercourse with animals. According to the Clearfield County District Attorney's Office, authorities were notified by a teen living on the property. The teen told authorities the three men constructed a holding pen in the shape of a "V" to help facilitate sexual intercourse with the animals.Police raided the property on Aug. 18 and found a "large volume of homemade videos," and camera equipment allegedly used to film the acts.State police assisted in the raid due to reports of semi-automatic weapons being on the property, authorities said.Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. said the incident is "one of the most extreme cases of animal abuse that his office has handled."Authorities said it doesn't appear that the teen was a victim of sexual assault, but they are working to determine the extent of any mental or physical abuse he may have been exposed to.Each defendant is being held on a 0,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. 1374

Many ignored the Governor's stay-at-home order and social distancing.With more snow in the near future, some residents in Mt. Laguna fear tourists will bring in the Coronavirus with them. Children playing in the snow: it's cute and seasonal in East County. But Mt. Laguna resident and business owner Nica Knite says, please stay away. "It's only been a few days people, you could hang at home for a few days. Come on," Knite said. Last weekend, Knite was appalled to see hundreds of cars lined up along Mile Marker 19 on Sunrise Highway. Families seemingly ignored social distancing rules. "The idea of recreating outside and going for a walk might seem like a healthy thing to do. But if people are playing in the snow and someone coughs on that snow and your kid falls onto that same snow, they have the opportunity to contract the virus," Knite said. "So it becomes a giant petri dish of danger."Scientists say COVID-19 could have an easier time surviving and reproducing in colder temperatures. It's because of the large crowds and cooler temperatures that on Sunday, Cleveland National Forest Rangers closed all their campgrounds, day-use areas, and two of their most popular trails: Three Sisters Falls and Cedar Creek Falls.
