According to Cal Fire, the body was discovered by a hiker around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday night.Cal Fire says they are waiting for the Medical Examiner to arrive and remove the body. RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - The Fund for the Animals Wildlife Center is at capacity while it cares for a record number of patients.At the center, experts rehabilitate animals they hope to release back into the wild. Most of the predators are kept in the back of the 13 acre property to keep humans from imprinting on them, affecting their ability to survive after release.Staff take extreme care and 'secretly' feed their animals.From January 1to July 1, the center cared for 588 animals. As of Friday, they're currently caring for more than 100, and at capacity.Some of their animals documented in pictures provided to 10News, like an orphaned badger, the first badger the center has had in 20 years. They also have a Great-Horned Owl which was hit by a car."Our patients are one of three things, they're unfortunately orphaned, or ill or injured," director Matt Anderson said.They've seen 35 percent more patients compared to the same time last year, meaning they're caring for 154 more animals."It's what we call baby season, everybody expects it, it's a hectic time, all hands to the deck, the staff are wonderful so we're pushing forward and already have some success stories," Anderson said.The Center is funded through donations and The Humane Society of the US, those dollars critical now more than ever. Another factor behind the boom, higher rain levels meant more food all the way up the food chain."Lots more plant life, and lots more to eat for the prey items that our predators eat," he said that's also what brings predators into our neighborhoods."They're really really good at finding their own food, and so it's best to let them alone in their habitat and enjoy them from a distance," Anderson said.Reminding us how important it is to leave the animals alone so they can survive, go back into that sensitive ecosystem and keep it in balance. 1863

President Donald Trump told the top White House lawyer in April that he wanted to order federal prosecutions of Hillary Clinton and James Comey, The New York Times reported Tuesday.The Times report, citing two people familiar with the conversation, said recently departed White House counsel Don McGahn told Trump in response that he could not compel the Justice Department to prosecute people and even requesting an investigation could be a step too far. The Times said McGahn went on to have White House lawyers list the consequences of such a demand for Trump.The Times said it was unclear if Trump read the memo about the consequences of a president having the Justice Department investigate his opponents and that it was also unclear what Trump wanted the prosecutions to cover.Trump has long called for legal action against Clinton, his Democratic rival in 2016, over her email practices as secretary of state, and he has alleged that Comey, who he fired as FBI director last year, leaked classified information.Attorney William Burck told CNN that McGahn would not comment on legal advice he had given to the President."Like any client, the President is entitled to confidentiality," Burck said. Puppies being rescued in Seattle quickly became rescuers for panicking airline passengers. The dogs were on the way to Detroit when an airline employee stole a plane at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, resulting in the delay of several outbound flights. A Michigan volunteer was stuck at the airport with the nine puppies, which brought peace to a chaotic situation.“We knew something was happening at the airport, we didn’t really know,” said Steve Heim, a Detroit Metro Airport employee. Heim volunteers with an animal rescue and was in Seattle Friday to bring nine Spanish greyhound puppies to metro Detroit. He was taking a red-eye and quickly realized something was wrong at the airport. An airline employee had stolen a plane on what officials say was a suicide mission. “I said ‘uh-oh this is not good,’” Heim said. He knew his flight and many other flights would be delayed due to the incident. But he was traveling alone, caring for nine puppies at the airport, waiting for the next flight which was more than six hours later. “People were yelling and screaming at all the customer service agents," Heim said. "People were crying.
