WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wisc. -- A Town of Merton man was charged after he called police when sex workers he hired allegedly stole his phone.Scott A Peschmann, 41, along with Victoria Pena, 24, and Maria Lebron, 27, were charged with prostitution and theft after meeting at Peschmann's home for sex, according to the criminal complaint. "Officers made contact with Scott Peschmann who indicated that three females had been at his residence and had stolen his cell phone and 0 in cash," said the criminal complaint. Peschmann had met Pena on the website, "back page," and arranged for an "intimate evening." They agreed upon a price of 0 for various sexual acts.  "Peshmann indicated that he had left four 0 bills on the corner fo the front room desk as a donation for the girls," said the criminal complaint. Peshmann noticed that his cell phone and the money were missing when Lebron went to the car to get a condom. The women were later stopped after officers spotted their vehicle and Peschman's phone was found in Lebron's purse.   1120

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A deadline set Tuesday under federal law essentially locks in President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, even though President Donald Trump is still falsely claiming he won reelection.Outlined in the Electoral Count Act of 1887, the safe harbor deadline falls six days before the Electoral College meets to formally cast votes for the president based on the popular vote in each state. This cycle, that vote will take place on Dec. 14.Other than Wisconsin, every state appears to have met the safe harbor deadline, which means Congress has to accept the electoral votes that will be cast next week and sent to the Capitol for counting on Jan. 6.By the end of the day Tuesday, every state is expected to make its election results official, with 306 electoral votes being awarded to Biden and 232 going to Trump. A total of 270 votes are needed to claim the White House.Those votes will elect Biden as the country’s next president.It’s called a safe harbor provision because it’s a kind of insurance policy by which a state can insulate its electoral votes against challenges in Congress by finishing up certification of the results and any state court legal challenges by the deadline. 1205

This is our reality, and this is what we have to do to not only protect ourselves, but our family, our loved ones and our community.”She says it is possible to see family or friends safely for the holidays, but you have to plan ahead. First, she recommends quarantining for 14 days before you see them.“Testing does not give you a free pass in terms of, OK I’ve tested negative, that means I don't have to quarantine for 14 days. West Jordan, UT (KSL) -- Police say two Salt Lake men took a teenage girl "partying" before taking turns raping her in the back seat of a car while she was passed out, all while a third man recorded it on a cellphone.Richard Djassera, 21, and Leclair Dodjim, 24, were arrested Tuesday by West Jordan police for investigation of aggravating kidnapping, rape, forcible sodomy, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated sexual assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.A 14-year-old girl met one of the men on Snapchat and struck up a conversation with him, said West Jordan Police Sgt. Joe Monson. That man originally represented himself as a 17-year-old, he said.On Sept. 8, the girl slept over at a friend's house and then sneaked out of the house to meet up with the man and two others, according to a Salt Lake County Jail report.The three men then drove the girl around, "partying, drinking," Monson said. The report says the men provided her with alcohol, then took her to a hookah bar and finally a house party.At some point, between 1 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., the girl — who was in and out of consciousness after drinking — was raped in the back seat of the men's car, Monson said.The report says two of the men assaulted her while the third recorded it."It appears (the girl) is passed out and/or unconscious throughout most of the video and clearly cannot give consent to anything that is happening to her," the report states."She woke up next morning, didn't remember much, was told by a friend that something had happened and called her parents," Monson said.The girl woke up in one of the men's homes and called a friend to come get her, he said.When the man who allegedly recorded the video was interviewed by detectives, he told them he saw what was happening and "thought it was funny so he recorded them having sex on his phone," the report states.As of Thursday, the investigation into the third man was continuing, according to police.The case is another reminder for parents to "be aware what your kids are doing on social media," Monson said.
