SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego home values continue to grow as the market shows signs of slowing, according to a report by Zillow. The company says the median home value in San Diego currently sits at 1,500, rising just over one percent year-over-year. According to Zillow, at this time last year, home values were growing by about 6.1 percent. San Diego’s housing inventory also increased over the last year, jumping six percent. According to the site, there are 531 more homes on the market than last July. In the rest of the U.S., the median home is worth 9,000, up 5.2 percent from a year ago. By this time last year, home values in the U.S. rose at 7.7 percent. Despite the slowing trend, Zillow says home values are still growing in 48 of the top 50 markets. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police are searching for a gunman after one person was shot and injured in the Logan Heights area on Sunday.Police said a 24-year-old man was sitting on his porch at 2248 Ocean View Blvd. when a vehicle drove up. A suspect exited the passenger side of the vehicle and fire one shot, hitting the victim in the buttocks.The suspect got back in the vehicle and fled the scene.The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.SDPD officers are investigating the shooting. 532

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police are warning parents in the Carmel Valley area after a man reportedly exposed himself to students walking to school Tuesday.Police say a man was in the passenger side of a parked car on Carmel Creek Road, and exposed and touched himself inappropriately with the car door open. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police officers were forced to abandon a pursuit Tuesday after learning a child was in the suspect's vehicle.The pursuit began after the suspect rear-ended an SDPD vehicle along 17th Street downtown around 1 p.m., according to police. The officer in the vehicle hit was fine.Police pursued the driver but terminated the pursuit after learning a child was in the car.SDPD ran the suspect's plates and found the vehicle was also stolen. During the pursuit, the suspect's vehicle collided with at least one other vehicle - losing the front right tire.No injuries were reported.The vehicle was abandoned in the 1300 block of Angelus Ave. in Lemon Grove. Police have yet to locate the suspect.The owner of the vehicle told 10News the car was stolen from Lakeside two days ago. He said he and his 12-year-old son worked on the vehicle as a project together. 943
