Leaders of Tree of Life Synagogue are split on welcoming President Donald Trump to Pittsburgh following Saturday's shooting at the house of worship.A former president of the synagogue says Trump is not "welcome" in Pittsburgh."I do not welcome this President to my city," Lynnette Lederman told CNN's John Berman on "New Day" Monday morning when asked about a letter from other Jewish leaders asking the President not to visit Pittsburgh.She continued, calling him "the purveyor of hate speech.""The hypocritical words that come from him tell me nothing. La Jolla, CALIF., (KGTV) -- San Diego Police detectives are investigating a vandalism case, where someone spay painted swastikas and inappropriate words in a La Jolla neighborhood.Every day, Joe Dicks usually takes La Jolla Mesa Drive to work. But Wednesday morning, he saw something very unusual. "We were disgusted by what we saw," Dicks said. He and his wife saw swastikas drawn in white spray paint in several locations along La Jolla Mesa Drive. Some were on the walls of private homes. Others were drawn on the sidewalks, on construction signs, and even the road. Dicks was so shocked, he stopped the car to take photos. "Look at what the symbol represents," Dicks said. "Hatred, intolerance, violence, I mean, make no mistake. This is a threat."San Diego Police said they got their first report at 7 am Wednesday. Then came two more reports of Inappropriate graffiti on several properties. City workers were immediately called out to clean them up. According to the Anti-Defamation League, 2018 was the third straight year of increased Anti-Semitic incidents in California. Dicks said this cannot become the new norm. "This has no place in this community, and has no place in this city, and has no place in our country," Dicks said. (KGTV) — A 5.0-magnitude earthquake was reported just outside Ridgecrest, Calif., Thursday.The quake struck about 25 miles north of Ridgecrest, Calif., just before 2 p.m. The earthquake had a depth of about one and a half miles deep, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.According to the USGS' "Did You Feel It?" map, shaking could be felt from as far away as San Diego and Coronado. Responses were also reported from Las Vegas, Nev., the map showed.No injuries or damages to structures were immediately reported.Ridegcrest was hit by a 7.1-magnitude earthquake on July 5. LAND O' LAKES, Fla. — Pasco County, Florida Sheriff's Office is investigating in incident where a Sunlake High School Resource Officer slammed a student during an arrest.PCSO says that the incident occurred Tuesday when the school administration requested the school resource officer, Rich Stackon, remove a student from the cafeteria.Leading up to the incident, school administrators asked the student to return to class several times before the SRO was called in.
