An international flight from Dubai to Amsterdam had to make an emergency landing last week on a Transavia Airlines flight after a fight broke out due to a passenger's flatulence, according to the Dutch De Telegraph.According to the report, two sisters complained about a man passing gas on board of the flight. When the Transavia Airlines crew failed to do anything about the flatulence, that is when the passengers allegedly got physical. Nora Lachhab, 25, and her sister, were forced off the plane by police in Vienna for allegedly getting physical with other passengers. Lachhab told De Telegraph that the allegations are untrue. "The strange thing is that we also had to leave the aircraft. While we did not know these guys at all. We happened to be in the same row, but did not do anything to justify the bizarre behavior of the Transavia crew,"Lachhab told De Telegraaf.According to De Telegraaf, four passengers, including those accused of passing gas, were barred from flying on Transavia Airlines. "That is unacceptable. Our crew must ensure a safe flight," an airline spokesperson told De Telegraaf. "When passengers pose risks, they immediately intervene. Our people are trained for that. They know very well where the boundaries are. Transavia is therefore square behind the cabin crew and the pilots."An unidentified passenger told De Telegraaf that Transavia Airlines' response was an over reaction. 1541

An 8-year-old girl in Florida was seriously injured when a massive tree limb fell on her Monday, as she was playing in a school playground during recess.Patricia Whidden suffered a fractured skull when the limb fell on her, dropping from a live oak at Edward Upthegrove Elementary School in LaBelle."It's an extremely tragic incident, and we are investigating," said Lucinda Kelley, deputy superintendent of Hendry County District Schools.Patricia's aunt Kristi Whidden said her niece has bleeding and swelling of the brain, and is recovering at a hospital in Delray Beach."Right now, she's being kept sedated to give her brain and body a chance to recover," Kristi Whidden said.Live oak trees form a canopy over many schools in Hendry County. Kelley said she believes the limb that fell on Patricia was a freak accident, although the LaBelle area did sustain a lot of damage from Hurricane Irma last fall."The limb that fell did not appear to be, at first glance, related to that," Kelley said. "We are going to ask for the help of an expert arborist to come in and examine all of the trees."In the meantime, the the school district has closed playground where Patricia was hurt. Although sedated, Kristi said her niece did wake up at one point during the night, and was able to respond to questions with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down."Right now, the focus is on Patricia and getting her through this," she said. "A lot of people have sent their prayers and positive vibes."Upthegrove Elementary is organizing a sock hop fundraiser to help Patricia's family with expenses. As hundreds of students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School prepare to board buses to lobby lawmakers to demand gun control, a measure was struck down on Tuesday by the Republican-held Florida House that would ban assault weapons. The motion was denied by a whopping 71-36 tally. Tuesday's vote came six days after a confessed gunman killed 17 lives at the Parkland, Florida high school. Many of the 3,000 students of the high school have since been vocal in their opposition to status quo gun laws, with the hope of increasing restrictions to posses firearms. The accused gunman, Nikolas Cruz, used an AR-15 type weapon during his massacre, which only lasted several minutes before he tried to blend in with students escaping the school. According to the Associated Press, the bill will likely no longer be considered during this session of the legislature.  898

ANTIOCH, Tenn. — The Associated Press, CBS, and NBC News are reporting that federal investigators have been searching through the home of a possible person of interest in connection to the explosion that rocked downtown Nashville on Christmas morning.The AP reported that agencies were at a home in Antioch in suburban Nashville after receiving information regarding the investigation.According to CBS and NBC News, investigators searched the home of 63-year-old Anthony Quinn Warner.Scripps sister station in Nashville WTVF discovered just weeks ago - he signed over his longtime home to a 29-year old woman who lives in California.Property records show he sold her another house nearby a year earlier.We don't know much about Warner, other than the likely owned an alarm company during the 1990s.Law enforcement received more than 500 tips that led them to this home on Bakertown Road in Antioch.Marco Rodriguez lives in the same building as Warner. He said at around 10 a.m. on Saturday federal agents told him to evacuate."They came in and told us to get out just in case there was a bomb or something," Rodriguez said.Federal agents and metro police spent the day combing through Warner's home, making sure it was safe and looking for evidence.Neighbors tell me when police showed the picture of the RV that was used in the downtown bombing, they immediately recognized it."It was parked over there all the time," Rodriguez said, "It's weird because it could've been us if he wanted to like blow us up or the bomb could've malfunctioned."WTVF was able to dig up property assessment photos of the home.
