LAKE POWELL, Utah — A baby from St. George has set the record for the youngest child to water-ski, his family says.Casey and Mindi Humpherys posted a photo and a video of 6-month-old Rich skiing at Lake Powell on Instagram earlier this week, captioned "I went water skiing for my 6 month birthday. Apparently that’s a big deal… #worldrecord" on an account dedicated to photos of the boy growing up and going on outdoor adventures. His parents, on their own individual Instagram accounts, specified that Rich was six months and four days old at the time — beating the youngest-known record by six days. The previous record was set by Auburn Absher in 2016 at six months and 10 days old, according to reports from BuzzFeed and ABC News. CHICAGO, Ill. – Imagine a window providing a glimpse into the past – Europe in the late 13th century, 1930s America, life during the Revolutionary War. Then imagine that world fitting inside the palm of your hand. That’s what happens inside Jay Kupjack’s workshop. He is literally a giant, towering over his diminutive room recreations. “I guess you could call me a miniaturist, I suppose,” said Kupjack. Krupjack specializes in all things small. “The preferred scale everybody likes is 1/12th,” he explained. “So, it's an inch to a foot. That seems to work out. Not too small. Not too big.” Kupjack is the last of a dynasty of miniature artists. “It's some you know it's deliberate and it's delicate,” said Kupjack. Both his father, Eugene, and brother, Hank, dedicated their lives to the intricate Lilliputian artform. Everything is made by hand. “My brother liked doing ancient stuff,” said Kupjack. “He did Greek Roman, Egyptian. We don't go too far into the present. Ohio has been added to the Ohio Department of Health’s COVID-19 Travel Advisory map, meaning the state is recommending Ohioans avoid traveling to Ohio, and those entering Ohio after traveling from Ohio are advised to self-quarantine in Ohio for 14 days.Obviously, outside of The Matrix or a Christopher Nolan movie, this is physically impossible. To be clear, you are free to move about the state, but the ODH recommends staying home except for necessary trips.The ODH included this statement on this week's travel advisory: "This is the first week since April where Ohio’s positivity for COVID-19 has increased above 15%. The state has seen record levels of cases, deaths, and hospitalizations in the past week, and all Ohioans can help to limit the spread and impact of this virus. This includes recommendations to stay at home except for necessary trips for supplies, consistent mask-wearing when around others, and frequent hand washing. Together we can help stop the spread of COVID-19."Ohio was added to its own travel advisory map because, as ODH states, the 7-day rolling average positivity rate for COVID-19 tests in the state rose above 15% for the first time since April this week. Any state with a positivity rate above 15% is put on the map, and the ODH recommends against travel to those states with high positivity.The positivity rate is an indicator of how much COVID-19 there is in a community, ODH states, and comes from state-level aggregate data from The COVID Tracking Project.
