DALLAS (AP) — Ten states have brought a lawsuit against Google, accusing the search giant of “anti-competitive conduct” in the online advertising industry including a deal to manipulate sales with rival Facebook. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says Google is using its “monopolistic power” to control the pricing on online advertisements, fixing the market in its favor and eliminating its competition. Google is calling the suit “meritless” and says the price of online advertising has fallen over the last decade. DELANO, Calif. (KGTV) - Two people died in a crash Tuesday after a traffic stop by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in the city of Delano, near Bakersfield.The Delano Police Department arrived at the scene of the rollover just before 7 a.m. Officers found the SUV on its roof with two victims inside.Police said the SUV had been speeding when the driver went onto a dirt shoulder and lost control. The SUV flipped and stopped after it hit a power pole, according to police.The man and woman inside the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.Delano officers determined ICE agents had pulled over the SUV before the crash. Agents got out of their vehicle but the SUV driver left the scene. The SUV crashed a short time later.There is no word on the identities of the victims or why they were pulled over. 824

DENVER — A Denver dad who witnessed a serious crash involving a pedestrian on Leetsdale Drive Thursday night says he wants to know why two paramedics, in a South Adams County - Northglenn ambulance, ignored his requests to help a young boy injured in that crash."I was heading to Cherry Creek reservoir with my dog," said the witness, who asked to remain anonymous. "The two little boys, one must not have been much over the age of 8, made their way across Leetsdale, several yards west of the Quebec intersection."He said the boys were crossing from north to south and had made it to the island in the middle of the street, and then began walking in front of cars that were stopped at the light.They were almost on the other side, when an eastbound car began approaching in the right turn lane. The boys darted in front of the car. The younger one took the brunt of the impact."He flew 20 yards and lost both of his shoes," the witness said. "I couldn't believe it."The witness added that what happened next was even more unbelievable.He spotted an ambulance waiting at the stoplight around the corner."By the Grace of God, there was a paramedic sitting...in traffic," he told Denver7. The witness said he approached the ambulance and knocked on the window."I told them, 'he's on the road, you've got to go help him,'" he said.But there was no response."I remember thinking they weren't understanding me. There's no reaction. I said, 'you have to go help him,'" he said.The witness, who has a 1-year old son, said he was talking to his wife on the phone and she told him to record the ambulance, so he did.He shared cell phone video of the ambulance, which was in the far-right southbound lane inching its way up to the intersection.After a brief toot of the siren, the ambulance entered the intersection and proceeded southbound without stopping, while the injured boy lay in the street a few yards away."It's sad," the witness said. "It's something that shouldn't happen in the United States."He said he wants to see some accountability.Ambulance Service ReactionKMGH reached out to South Adams County Paramedics-Northglenn Ambulance, a nonprofit service based in Northglenn.Initially, a director said she'd look into the claims, and then called back and said it was under investigation, so she couldn't comment.She cautioned that there "are two sides to every story."When asked about the nonprofit's protocol when paramedics are made aware of an accident outside their normal "coverage" area, the director said she couldn't answer that question while the incident is under investigation.KMGH checked with other paramedic services in metro Denver.A couple of them said they have no formal policy, but would stop and render aid, until local authorities arrived.One spokeswoman said without being there, it's hard to know whether there was a patient in the back of that ambulance, or whether it was on its way to pick one up."If there was a patient inside, the paramedics may not have been able to divert attention from the patient in the ambulance," she said.Serious ConditionDenver Police are still investigating the accident which happened around 6 p.m.They say the young victim remains in serious condition, but is stable. 3330

People who insist you smoke outside, people that freak out about paraphernalia sitting around," Green says of his issues with prior roommates.That's why Angeliki Gousetis created 420 Friendly Apartments — a Facebook group connecting fellow marijuana smokers who are looking for roommates with similar interests.The group doesn't find a place to rent. Dan Garfield, an attorney who specializes in cannabis law, says "it’s just as difficult to find a weed-friendly landlord as it is to find a tobacco-friendly landlord." And if you do find one, Garfield says, Be prepared to pay a larger security deposit.""There’s no worry that I’m a professional and because I’m in finance, I can’t be 420-friendly, so if, God forbid, somebody sees me, I have to hide myself. There’s no hiding. Just be yourself," said Gousetis, a New York realtor.She started the same group in New York before creating one in Denver over the summer. More than 3,000 people have already joined, including Green, who posted to the group he was in need of a place to live. He says within a matter of days, he found his new roommates.Gousetis says she's helped connect people in 25 states. She calls them bud-mates. The group is free to use. DETROIT - "She was loved," said Jessica Williams-Stough about her 36-year-old daughter, Kelly Stough, who was murdered Friday morning near East McNichols and Brush in Detroit. "She had a lot of people who loved her. She just wasn't nobody."Albert Weathers, a local pastor, has been charged with open murder and felony firearm (use of a firearm in commission of a felony). Weathers appeared in court Monday for arraignment where his bond was set at million.Kelly Stough was a 36-year-old transgender woman who was beloved in the LGBTQ community and aspired to be a designer and buyer in the world of fashion. Investigators won't reveal a motive or other details surrounding the murder, but a source said that after the shooting, Weathers fled the scene, clocked in at work at the Great Lakes Water Authority, and then called police an hour after the shooting to say that someone tried to rob him and that he shot someone. Weathers lives in Sterling Heights and a woman who answered the door at his home declined to comment. Someone who knows Weathers, but wished to remain anonymous, said that he's married with children and that he rents space in a local church for his small congregation.The case has been assigned to Special Prosecutor Jaimie Powell Horowitz of the Fair Michigan Justice Project (FMJP).The FMJP is a collaboration between the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office and Fair Michigan Foundation that focuses on serious crimes against those in the LGBTQ community. 1626
