SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — President Trump's pardon of former Congressman Duncan Hunter came as no shock to the man who successfully prosecuted the case.“While I am appalled as a citizen, I am not surprised given the prior conduct of the president,” said Phil Halpern, who left the Justice Department after the case concluded.Halpern was one of the Assistant U.S. Attorneys who prosecuted Duncan Hunter and his wife Margaret in 2019. If you're a Comic-Con mega fan, patience is a vital part of the experience. Many slept on the grassy courtyard for hours, just to claim a seat inside the coveted Hall H. Fans say they can't get enough. "I've been a fan since the first season came out," Superfan, Marvin Calderon said. "I'm also a fan of the comic books."Calderon showed us his right arm. It is entirely covered with "The Walking Dead" themed tattoos, proving to us, his extreme loyalty to the show.Friday's panel featured the showrunner, Angela Kang, her executive producers, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, and Greg Nicotero, as well as cast members Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Avi Nash, Cooper Andrews, Ryan Hurst, Nadia Hilker, Eleanor Matsuura, and Cailey Fleming. This was 12-year-old Cailey Fleming's first Comic-Con experience, and she stole the show.
