VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -- Michael Yager says he was outraged after learning his son, Jacob, bullied multiple classmates at New Smyrna Beach Middle School in Volusia County, Florida. "I figured I would teach him a lesson that would embarrass him and make him feel the way kids feel," he said.Wanting to teach his 13-year-old a lesson the frustrated father took an unorthodox approach. "I wrote the sign, I'm a bully. Honk if you hate bullies." Yager drove his son to nearby State Route 442 and parked him on a busy corner.His son had to hold the sign high."Embarrassed and kind of nervous," Jacob admitted.He says it did not take long for people to start honking.  Some even stopped to talk to father and son."I had Edgewater Police stop by, I had Volusia County Sheriffs. I had a good response from the neighborhood," Jacob's father said.But he acknowledged not everyone agrees with his parenting. "I had one woman come up and call me every name in the book. "How do you respond to parents who say putting your son out on the road is, in fact, bullying your own son?" he was asked."In my mind, I was doing the right thing, but I guess you cannot please everybody," Michael Yager said. A recent staggering statistic shows one out of every five students report being bullied. Jacob said he has learned a valuable lesson. "You never know what someone can be going through. (KGTV) -- An Escondido woman accused in a vehicle crash that killed four people, including two children, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to all charges levied against her.Ashley Rene Williams pleaded not guilty to four counts of murder and four counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated during her initial court appearance, which was via video conference.The 28-year-old’s bail was set at million.According to Escondido police, just before 8:30 p.m. on May 5, Williams was driving northbound near Oak Hill Drive and San Pasqual Valley Road when she struck two adults and two children walking in the area.Abel Valdez, 33, and 11-year-old Emmanuel Riva died at the scene. Ten-year-old Yovanny Felix and 50-year-old Carmela Camacho were rushed to the hospital, where they later passed away.The boys were brothers, and Camacho was their grandmother. Valdez was Camacho’s boyfriend, according to a GoFundMe established for the family.Williams was taken to the hospital after also suffering injuries.Following an investigation that involved the analysis of evidence that included cellphone and vehicle computer data, lab test results, and roadway measurements, Williams was arrested at her home on June 4.Prosecutors said Williams was under the influence of drugs and using her cellphone at the time of the collision.10News learned Williams’ driver’s license was already suspended as of Feb. 18, 2020, due to a drug-related offense. WASHINGTON — President-elect Joe Biden introduced his picks for top health positions in his administration Tuesday, and listed three goals his administration will take to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in his first 100 days.The first of those goals has already been widely reported — Biden says he will ask American to "mask up" for the first 100 days of his administration. He said Tuesday that he will enact mask mandates where he can, like on federal property or on airplanes and other inter-state travel. But he said he's asking the rest of the country to join him in wearing masks even where they are not mandated.Biden also said Tuesday that he hopes to administer 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in his first 100 days. In order to aid his administration in his goal, he says he hopes Congress can pass additional funding that would assist in distribution. "The pressure was very big on my shoulders.
