A 3-year-old Mesa, Arizona boy was found crying next to his passed out father near a Mesa business.Mesa police report that on May 11, they responded to a business near Stapley Drive and Baseline Road for a man unconscious outside a business. An employee found 33-year-old David Rodriguez passed out with his 3-year-old son standing next to him, crying. Police woke up Rodriguez, but he reportedly kept dozing off as police were questioning him. He did not know where he was or how he got there. He also could not tell police how old his son was. Police located his car in the parking lot with the keys still in the ignition. They also allegedly found several open beer cans in the vehicle. Rodriguez has been charged with child abuse. 777

(KGTV) -- The internet is exploding with people trying to help firefighters and animals in Australia amid raging wildfires - enter the koala challenge. The challenge, which was started by beverage company FITAID, encourages people to take a video of themselves latching onto the underside of a workout bench. Lifesharing arranged a meeting between a North County family and the man who received their son’s heart.Mathieu Bergeron died last May after a tragic skateboarding accident. The 20-year-old was a registered organ donor.Bergeron’s heart saved the life of Dr. Murray Alsip, who was suffering from a heart condition that made it difficult to walk and, at times, to even breathe.Alsip said he had “one foot in the grave” before he was saved by Bergeron’s precious gift.The family meeting was both joyful and emotional. With the aid of a stethoscope, Bergeron’s parents and high school sweetheart got to listen to the heart beating inside of Alsip’s chest.Both families agreed to share their story in an effort to encourage others to say “yes” to organ and tissue donation.Statistics from LifeSharing San Diego: 973
