LEXINGTON, Ky. — A Kentucky man is accused of using other people's identities to buy luxury cars and lease apartments in Kentucky and Florida.39-year-old Kenneth Mobley was arrested earlier this month as part of investigations by Lexington Police and the Kentucky State Police-Vehicle Investigations Unit.Five cars valued at around 5,000 were recovered as part of these investigations.Lexington police say back in March, detectives learned Mobley used an Oregon man's identity and a fraudulent check to buy a BMW convertible from a Kentucky car dealership and rent an apartment. Mobley was arrested later that month in Tampa, Florida.In early September, police say detectives learned Mobley was possibly back in Kentucky. Evidence ultimately linked to him was found at multiple police scenes in Lexington, including the collision of a Dodge Charger Hellcat that was left abandoned on Chestnut Street. 912
LA MESA (KGTV)- Friday evening could have been one of the last times the community sees the farmers market on La Mesa Boulevard. On Tuesday the La Mesa City Council will vote to determine the future of the farmers market. Scott Strickland is a vendor at the La Mesa Farmers Market and has been for four years. Strickland tells 10News, “it would be about probably 25 percent of my gross revenue.” Strickland does not want the farmers market to leave La Mesa Boulevard. The farmers market has been at this location for one year and Strickland says it’s been the best location for the vendors, “I would say maybe 10 times the money we were making over there.” Friday, 10News tried talking with business owners who oppose the farmers market being on La Mesa Boulevard. They all have brick and mortar locations that they say are suffering on Friday evenings. One restaurant owner showed us empty tables during their happy hour, another shared they had to cut down staffing on Friday nights because they were losing about three thousand dollars. Both sides are prepared to attend the meeting on Tuesday night and share their concerns and financial burdens with city councilmembers. 1184

(KGTV) — Video showed a female duo running from an East County home carrying items, as a helpless homeowner who watched it all unfold on his doorbell camera.At 6 p.m. Thursday, a woman is seen walking up to the front door and appears to be looking for something. Eventually, she wanders to the back of the home, and that's when a loud sound is heard. That sound is believed to the sound of a screen being torn off and a back window being forced open. Don says watching on a Ring camera app was the homeowner, his father, who was out of town with his mother in Missouri. His dad then triggered the alarm and watched as the woman holding several items got into a car in the driveway. Moments later, another woman carrying a box stuffed with items jumped into the same car."I think he started to panic. He's not there and somebody's in the house," said Don.The homeowner is heard asking through speaker "Who are you? Who are you?" before the women drive off."They called me in a panic. They didn't have number for local sheriff," said Don. He called 9-1-1 and deputies arrived minutes later. But the women were long gone. According to the video, they weren't in the home long."In a seven-minute time frame, they went through literally every drawer in the house," said Don.Stolen from the home: A coin collection and dozens of pieces of jewelry belonging to his father and mother. LA JOLLA, Calif. (KGTV) - More women are coming forward after a 10News investigation revealed a La Jolla restaurant owner was arrested Wednesday on 18 counts that include raping an unconscious victim and forcibly drugging a victim. Daniel Dorado is the owner of Bird Rock area's Voce Del Mare, an upscale Italian restaurant. He's now behind bars, held on 0,000 bail.Thursday, a woman who didn't want to go on-camera told us she applied for a bartending job at the restaurant a couple of years ago, but was so uncomfortable with Dorado that she declined the job opportunity. She tells us he asked her over the phone about her body type and whether she'd wear revealing clothing. She tells us the inappropriate conversation led to more harassment, after he apparently called and yelled at her that night for being unable to meet in-person. RELATED: Woman accusing restaurant owner of rape comes forward10News also spoke to a woman Thursday who says she worked at the restaurant for a brief time and also claims to have been treated inappropriately. She wanted us to protect her identity, but revealed, "He wanted to know what I was going to be wearing to work. He wanted me to take a picture of [my outfit] and text it to him." She says she quit after a few shifts.Both women felt uncomfortable with Dorado, but say they were horrified after watching a 10News exclusive interview Wednesday night with a young woman who claims he drugged and raped her three years ago when she came into the restaurant to interview for a hostess position. Her attorney says she is one of at least four women that Dorado is charged with assaulting. Dorado is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday. 1715
