INDIANAPOLIS -- A man's quick reaction spared him from serious injury or even death after a chunk of concrete was thrown from an overpass on I-465 and shattered his windshield.Alan Cox was driving his Honda SUV on I-465 northbound Wednesday afternoon. He said he saw three men on the overpass as he approached the Pendleton Pike exit. Cox said he could tell they were up to no good, especially when he noticed one throwing something into moving traffic and in his direction."I knew he was going to throw something so I veered to the left a little. He nailed me. If I veered over to the left -- dead center to the chest," Cox said.A chunk of concrete hit Cox's windshield on passenger side and left the interior of his SUV covered in glass"People get killed. At least 130 people bought tickets to board a plane and fly around Australia for several hours before landing back at the same airport."For those who are missing the excitement of travel or are keen to wave to friends and family interstate," Qantas stated in their flight information.It’s not just any flight, it’s aboard a B787 Dreamliner aircraft offering low level flybys of unique sight-seeing locations around Australia. Flyover locations include the Great Barrier Reef, Byron Bay, Sydney Harbor, Uluru and Kata Tjuta.The Dreamliner boasts large passenger windows for sightseeing, and it's usually used for long-haul international flights. INDIANAPOLIS -- A leader of the white nationalist movement was arrested and charged with domestic battery Tuesday following an incident at his southern Indiana home.Court records show Orange County prosecutors charged Matthew Heimbach, the leader of the white nationalist Traditionalist Workers Party, with a felony count of domestic battery committed in the presence of a child and a misdemeanor count of battery.According to ABC-affiliate WHAS 11 in Louisville, which obtained a copy of the court documents, police were called to Heimbach’s compound in Paoli, Indiana, on a report that Heimbach had assaulted his wife’s stepfather, Matt Parrott. Parrott is also a member of the white nationalist movement.When police arrived at Heimbach’s home, they reportedly learned Heimbach had also attacked his wife while their children watched.Heimbach was booked into the Orange County Jail. Court records show he posted a ,000 cash bond on Tuesday.Heimbach was previously ordered to attend anger management classes in July 2017 when he pleaded guilty to physically harassing a female protestor at a Donald Trump rally in Louisville, Kentucky. The judge in the case, Jefferson County District Judge Stephanie Pearce Burke, waived Heimbach’s 90-day sentence on the condition that he not re-offend within two years. Then 24 years old, Heimbach had already appeared on Nightline for his views on white separatism.WRTV found Heimbach had been terminated less than three weeks after his hire date.The most recent incident involving Heimbach may have larger ripple effects within his white nationalist organization, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks organizations it classifies as “hate groups.”In a post to the SPLC’s website Tuesday, the organization said it spoke with Heimbach’s father-in-law, Parrott, who told them he was leaving the group.An initial hearing on the battery charges against Heimbach in Orange County had not yet been set. In response to a growing trend on social media, the Food and Drug Administration published a public warning this week about the dangers of taking too much of an allergy medication, diphenhydramine, commonly known as Benadryl.“We are aware of news reports of teenagers ending up in emergency rooms or dying after participating in the “Benadryl Challenge” encouraged in videos posted on the social media application TikTok,” the statement reads.When a teen girl died in August in Oklahoma City, her family blamed the 15-year-old’s death on a Benadryl overdose. The family blamed a “challenge” on TikTok where participants take a dozen or so doses of the allergy medication to experience hallucinations.Earlier this year, there were reports out of Fort Worth, Texas that three teens became sick and had to be rushed to the hospital after taking large amounts of the medication. According to Newsweek, when they recovered, the teens told officers they had taken the allergy medication as part of the TikTok challenge.Taking more than the recommended dose of Benadryl “can lead to serious heart problems, seizures, coma, or even death,” the FDA states.“We are investigating these reports and conducting a review to determine if additional cases have been reported,” the FDA stated. “We also contacted TikTok and strongly urged them to remove the videos from their platform and to be vigilant to remove additional videos that may be posted.”Johnson & Johnson, who manufacture Benadryl, released a statement to media outlets stating, in part, “The health and safety of people who use our products is our top priority. The BENADRYL TikTok trend is extremely concerning, dangerous and should be stopped immediately.”The FDA reminds parents and caregivers to lock up medicines to prevent accidental overdoses.
