(KGTV) - A teenager is using chalk art to try and lift the spirits of her neighbors during the Coronavirus Pandemic.Lori Vildibill has covered the sidewalks of her street in inspirational messages and doodles, hoping they can make people smile."It's mostly things I had been saying to myself to try to get me to feel better," she says of where she got the ideas for dozens of messages. "Then I thought, I can't just write a bunch of words. Maybe I'll draw a little flower here and there to brighten up people's days."Lori, a Senior in High School, says missing out on things like prom, graduation, and yearbook signing because of Coronavirus had been somewhat depressing. She thought the drawings could change her moods, and also help her neighbors."I realized that I'm probably not the only person feeling that way, and if I can encourage people to just smile or get outside and walk, check out what I'm doing, it would be good for everyone," she says.Even though recent rain has washed away most of the drawings already, Lori says she'll replace them with new ones. (KGTV) — A Poway High School student has been arrested for allegedly making threats to shoot classmates.Friday, the parent of a Poway High student reported several threats were made by another student, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.The student, who was not named, was in an argument with a group of students and threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot the students, SDSO said.Deputies responded to the student's home but did not find a firearm at the home.The student was taken to Juvenile Hall and charged with making criminal threats.SDSO reminds parents and students that deputies investigate all schools threats and encourages them to report any perceived threats to authorities. 754

President Donald Trump delivered remarks from the White House on Thursday, again declaring himself the rightful winner of Tuesday’s election and that the election is being stolen.Currently, Joe Biden is projected to be ahead in the Electoral College vote. Biden is ahead by a 264-213 margin, according to the Associated Press. While the Associated Press called Arizona early Wednesday, some outlets have not called Arizona, which Biden has led narrowly.Trump made a multitude of false statements to sow doubt into the legitimacy of the election.To be clear, Trump still has a narrow path to the presidency, but that path is becoming more narrow by the hour. As Trump spoke, 17,000 votes in Savannah, Georgia, were tabulated cutting Trump’s lead in the state by 6,000. Trump now leads the state by 3,500 votes with 19,000 votes left. Biden has been winning mail-in votes in Georgia by nearly a 2-to-1 margin, which would be enough to give Biden a narrow win in the state.Conversely, Trump won over 62% of the Election Day vote in Georgia. Because those ballots were first to be reported, Trump racked up a sizable lead in Georgia. A similar situation in Pennsylvania took place. In Pennsylvania, Trump won the Election Day vote by a 2-to-1 margin, but trailed the mail-in vote by a 3-to-1 margin. Early on Thursday, Trump tweeted “STOP THE COUNT” as mail-in votes postmarked on or before Election Day are being counted in states such as Pennsylvania and Georgia. These ballots have helped Biden significantly narrow Trump’s lead. The two states are imperative for Trump in order to win in order to remain in the White House in 2021.Twitter has recently updated its policy regarding misinformation involving the election, and as of 2 p.m. ET Thursday, Trump had his Twitter account flagged eight times for misinformation.Trump also voiced his concerns via Twitter that ballots shouldn't be counted after Election Day and claims that he'll challenge states who declared Biden a winner for voter fraud. 2006

President Donald Trump once again floated the idea of adding a "Space Force" as a branch of the US military on Tuesday at the White House.Trump's comments came as he presented the Army college football team with the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy, annually awarded to the best college football team among Army, Navy and Air Force."You will be part of the five proud branches of the United States Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and the Coast Guard," Trump said, addressing the Army football team. "And we're actually thinking about a sixth, and that would be the Space Force. Does that make sense?" Trump said. "... because we're getting very big in space, both militarily and for other reasons, and we're seriously thinking about the Space Force."Tuesday wasn't the first time Trump has floated the idea of a military branch dedicated for fighting wars in space.
