All 5,000 Chase Bank locations nationally are either reducing hours or closing in an effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus. According to a Chase spokesperson, 20% of locations will close until further notice. Customers can check chase.com by Thursday morning to check which locations are closing until further notice. The remaining locations will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, and keep existing weekend hours. "The remaining 80% would continue to serve our customers in every one of our communities," a Chase spokesperson said. "To help protect you and our employees, we’re open for business, however, we've been temporarily adjusting hours, changing procedures and closing some branches—and we’ll continue to adapt. I so appreciate your patience," Thasunda Brown Duckett, CEO of Chase Consumer Banking, said. "With many of us staying closer to home, I encourage you to use tools on the Chase Mobile app and chase.com whenever possible. If you need help because of COVID-19, please reach out to us."Chase is the second-largest bank in terms of numbers of US branches. 1101

A view of a well-preserved colorful mosaic floor of an ancient Roman villa archaeologists have revealed among vineyards near the northern city of Verona, Italy. The official in charge of archaeology Verona province, Gianni de Zuccato, on Friday said the mosaics appeared to be ‘’in a good state of conservation,’’ from what they are able to observe after gingerly digging a trench between vineyards in the hills of Valpolicella, known for its full-bodied red wine. A new federal lawsuit says Mississippi's Parchman prison is a violent place where inmates live in “abhorrent conditions” and their medical needs are ignored. The lawsuit was filed Tuesday on behalf of more than 150 prisoners. It is similar to one filed in January, and the two lawsuits could eventually be merged. Attorneys in both lawsuits are being paid by entertainment mogul Jay-Z, rapper Yo Gotti and Team Roc, the philanthropic arm of Jay-Z's Roc Nation. At least 19 inmates have died in Mississippi prisons since late December. The latest death happened Wednesday. The U.S. Justice Department is investigating Mississippi's prison system. 657
Air bags are an essential safety feature in modern vehicles, but for some drivers and passengers, air bags aren't providing a satisfactory level of safety, according to a government agency. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced recently that 10 million additional air bags have been added to a recall of Takata air bags. The air bags were installed by 14 different automakers, including some Ford, GM and Toyota models. The NHTSA said that exposure to long-term heat and humidity can cause these air bags to explode when deployed. The NHTSA claims that faulty air bags have caused injuries and fatalities. "The propellant in some of the subject inflators may degrade over time, which could lead to over-aggressive combustion in the event the air bag is activated," the NHTSA said. "Overly aggressive combustion creates excessive internal pressure when the inflator is activated, which may cause the inflator body to rupture."To find out if your vehicle has been recalled, click 1012
