(KGTV) - A first-grade teacher at Sycamore Canyon Elementary has found a creative way to stay in touch with her students while everyone is staying home during the coronavirus Pandemic.Sarah Lathers is filming herself reading stories to her daughter, and then posting it online."I just think about my kiddos a lot, and I do miss them a lot more than I anticipated I would already," she says. "I care so much about their education and them as people. The idea of putting story time online seemed like an easy way to let her school kids know she was thinking about them.The videos already have hundreds of views. They get tears in their eyes, at times remembering stories in class. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The Saudi government recruited two Twitter employees to get personal account information of their critics, prosecutors said Wednesday.A complaint unsealed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco detailed a coordinated effort by Saudi government officials to recruit employees at the social media giant to look up the private data of thousands of Twitter accounts.The accounts included those of a popular critic of the government with more than 1 million followers and a news personality.It also alleged that the employees — whose jobs did not require access to Twitter users' private information — were rewarded with a designer watch and tens of thousands of dollars funneled into secret bank accounts. They were charged with acting as agents of Saudi Arabia without registering with the U.S. government.The Saudi government had no immediate comment through its embassy in Washington.Twitter acknowledged that it cooperated in the investigation and said in a statement that it restricts access to sensitive account information "to a limited group of trained and vetted employees.""We understand the incredible risks faced by many who use Twitter to share their perspectives with the world and to hold those in power accountable," the statement said. SAN MARCOS (CNS) - A motorist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash this morning involving a semi truck on state Route 78 in San Marcos and another motorist suffered major injuries in a rollover crash around four-and-a-half hours later on the opposite side of the highway, authorities said.A semi truck was reportedly disabled around 12:15 a.m. in the left lane of eastbound state Route 78 west of Twin Oaks Valley Road, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.At 12:55 a.m., someone told dispatchers that a vehicle crashed into the back of the semi truck and the vehicle was totaled.The driver of the Honda CRV that struck the semi truck was killed in the crash, CHP Officer Tommy Doerr said.CHECK 10NEWS TRAFFIC MAPAt 5:35 a.m., a crash between a Ford pickup and two other vehicles on westbound SR-78 west of Twin Oaks Valley Road caused the pickup to overturn and land on its roof, Doerr said.
