SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Stephen Reis is known for his work on The Simpsons, and now his work is displayed at San Diego Comic-Con.After donating art to a fundraising effort last year, his work blew up on social media. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego's cost of living runs more than ,500 a month, making it one of the worst monthly hits in the country's biggest cities, according to a new study.San Diego's cost of living ranked 64th out of the study's 75 most populous U.S. cities, according to Move.org. Average monthly costs in America's Finest City came in at about ,665, the study revealed.In San Diego, prices were broken down by rent for a one-bedroom apartment, utilities, internet, gasoline, and groceries for one month:Rent: ,970.93Utilities: 1.66Internet: .05Gasoline: 6.15Groceries: 2.07Prices were pulled from Numbeo's updated estimates in June 2019.Charting as the absolute worst cities for cost of living where San Francisco (,210.60 a month), New York City (,956.11 a month), and San Jose, Calif. Half of the study's 10 worst cities were located in California.On the other end of the spectrum, El Paso, Texas, ranked best with a monthly cost of living of ,182.96, followed by Lincoln, Neb. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego veterans from WWII and the Korean War are getting ready for a special trip. This weekend they'll board an Honor Flight to Washington D.C.10News is getting exclusive access to the trip and was at Honor Flight San Diego's last planning meeting before the special weekend gets off the ground. David Smith, Founder of Honor Flight San Diego, says it's incredibly important to thank our veterans while there's still time. The oldest veteran on this weekend's flight will be 99-years-old. "I've actually had veterans come up to me and say, 'ya know, in all these years no one has ever said thank you to me - this means so much'," said Smith.The group relies on fundraising to make the honor flight a reality - it costs 0,000 for the entire weekend.Our coverage of the Honor Flight continues Friday morning when Reporter Amanda Brandeis boards the plane with the veterans and will continue through Sunday when they all return to San Diego. Honor Flight San Diego welcomes the community to join the Sunday's homecoming at the San Diego International Airport.
