The government is looking into getting rid of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security at dozens of smaller airports across the country.According to reports, the TSA is considering getting rid of security screenings at more than 150 small and medium-sized airports that operate commercial flights, with no more than 60 passengers.The TSA estimates the move would save 5 million, which could then be used to enhance security at busier, larger airports. 475

The Florida Senate on Monday passed Senate Bill 7026, The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act — a bill that raises the minimum purchasing age for a firearm to 21 and sets a program that allows for armed librarians, coaches and counselors.The bill now moves to the Florida House. The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigates an incident involving Trump supporters swarming a Joe Biden campaign bus as it traveled from San Antonio to Austin Saturday.According to CNN, staffers on the bus called 911 after nearly 100 vehicles blockaded the tour bus on the interstate and tried to run it off the road.On Sunday, Trump said his supporters were "protecting" the bus, according to Forbes.A Biden campaign staffer told CNN Saturday's incident involved nearly 100 vehicles.Neither Former Vice President Joe Biden nor California Sen. The Cameron Peak Fire is now the largest wildfire in Colorado's history. It grew overnight and is now 164,140 acres, but it remains 56% contained and no injuries have been reported.The fire became the largest in Colorado history Wednesday evening. It took only 48 days for the Cameron Peak Fire to surpass the 139,007-acre Pine Gulch Fire as the largest in recorded state history, and also blew past the 137,760-acre Hayman Fire in 2002.In a Thursday morning update, Operations Section Chief Paul Demerico of Rocky Mountain Team 1 said they are expecting a challenging few days ahead."But we have beefed up and feel like we have adequate resources to do what we can, especially when it comes to structure protection," he said.Several areas near the fire are under mandatory or voluntary evacuations as a result of the blaze. Highway 34 was also temporarily shut down in both directions between Loveland and Estes Park to help with evacuations, but has reopened.In addition, the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Roosevelt National Forest closed Thursday morning.
