BEVERLY HILLS (CNS) - Three-time Grammy-nominated rapper Offset was detained by Beverly Hills police Saturday during the weekly pro-Trump demonstration and released, while wife Cardi B's cousin was arrested on concealed weapon charges.Offset, aka Kiari Kendrell Cepus, livestreamed his police dealings on Instagram just after 5 p.m.He is seen telling officers he won't put up his hands "because you got guns out. I am not gonna move my hands from the steering wheel."A female officer is heard explaining that "We were told that you guys were waving guns."Offset told police "You just watched someone beat my car up with a flag."Officers are shown opening the car door as Offset claims it is illegal.The livestream ends as officers pull him out of the car. Despite the doctor's warning, the crew stayed the course while the doctor and flight attendants tried to treat Brittany, who was 25 years old at the time. She was taken to a hospital immediately upon landing, but died three days later.Now her family is suing the airline for wrongful death.Brad Cranshaw, the attorney for Brittany's husband and her parents, told CNN Friday the family's main objective isn't winning a financial settlement.They want the airline to re-examine its policy and procedures so this won't happen to anyone else, he said."The family wants something (they) can't have, and that's Brittany back," Cranshaw said. BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) — The FBI is investigating after a piece of rope resembling a noose was found in a Black firefighter's locker in the Minneapolis suburb of Bloomington. An FBI spokesman confirmed Saturday the bureau is investigating and said that the case is in its initial stages. Bloomington officials had asked the FBI to investigate. Officials say that the rope was tied into what appears to be a crude noose and was discovered at a Bloomington fire station on June 15. The discovery was reported to Fire Department leaders eight days later, on Tuesday. The fire chief says such acts that “embody hate, intimidation, and aggression will not be tolerated.” Mayor Tim Busse says he's “disgusted, angry, and embarrassed by this cowardly act.” 758

BUFFALO, N.Y. - At a house in Buffalo, you'll find a resource to help neighbors in need."I think Buffalo really has the chance and ability to want to really come together and put some positivity into the air right now you know?" said Jessie Reardon.Reardon is the woman behind the Buffalo Community Fridge. She's also a registered nurse at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.The fridge is for anyone who needs fresh produce, baby food, or even a pre-packaged meal. She got all the logistics together starting in July and put the fridge out last week.Reardon said the fridge was a donation from a friend. Since then, a few others have offered to find fridges for the effort."The ultimate goal is to for there to be refrigerators all over the city, in every neighborhood, all over. Spreading mutual aid giving food to people that need it," said Reardon.It's a resource critical to Buffalo's east side, which is considered a food desert."It's hard to get fresh fruit and the natural resources that our families need for their children, so they have the proper nutrition," said Pastor Dwayne Jones, with Mt. Aaron Missionary Baptist Church.Pastor Jones, an advocate for getting produce to food deserts, said there's only one supermarket on the east side.He's been working on a local, state, and federal level to get more supermarkets to that area."We need a supermarket down on this part of the east side," he said. "Everybody needs an apple, fresh milk, everybody needs fresh milk, fresh produce."Right now, Reardon wants other people to get encouraged to host a refrigerator themselves, and she is more than willing to help them get started."Anyone can do this, absolutely. It is anyone's project, it's just as much as your project as it is my project," she said.Any food items are accepted, except for raw meat or seafood.
