Those who apply will be able to check their application status online at any point in the process.To be eligible, households must be renting and have experienced a financial hardship directly related to COVID-19. This includes a loss or reduction of income or an increase in medical expenses.Households must also fall under 60% of the area median income to qualify. For example, to be eligible, a single-person household can earn up to ,540 and a four-person household can earn up to ,300. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning in a collision with an SUV on a La Jolla street, police said.The crash happened shortly before 7:55 a.m. in the 8700 block of Gilman Drive, San Diego police Sgt. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Lab-confirmed flu cases increased countywide last week for the second consecutive week, county health officials announced Wednesday.The county Health and Human Services Agency confirmed 74 flu cases, an increase of 22 cases over the revised 52 confirmed the previous week. The county confirmed 30 cases during the week of Oct. 20-26.County health officials have confirmed 475 flu cases to date since tracking for the 2019-2020 flu season began July 1.
