A scary situation in Seguin, Texas, came to a peaceful end when an off-duty police officer apprehended a man who was wearing a surgical mask, carrying a handgun and acting erratically.According to the Seguin Police Department, the officer approached Tony Dwayne Albert II on Sunday after concerned bystanders reported Albert for suspicious behavior. The officer noted that Albert was "wearing tactical style clothing, a surgical face shield, carrying a loaded firearm and extra ammunition."An SPD spokeswoman said Albert claimed he was headed to an unidentified church to fulfill what he called a "prophecy."Albert, 33, of Houston, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.He was being held Monday at the Guadalupe County Jail on a 0,000 bond, according to online records. A Missouri judge is turning to Walt Disney to make sure David Berry Jr. never illegally hunts again.Berry's sentencing is the latest event in one of the state's largest poaching cases.Lawrence County Judge Robert George sentenced Berry to a year in jail for illegally killing deer, taking only their heads and antlers and leaving the rest of their bodies to rot. And while he's in jail, he's required to watch the Walt Disney movie "Bambi" once a month.In the 1942 animated classic, Bambi's mother is shot and killed by hunters."Berry Jr.'s convictions are the tip of a long list of illegal fish and game activity by him and other members of his family," Lawrence County Conservation Agent Andy Barnes said. After a whirlwind 2019 for James Holzhauer, he along with two other past Jeopardy champs have been invited back to participate in an ultimate showdown to decide who is the "Greatest of All Time."Holzhauer will be joined by Ken Jennings, who owns Jeopardy's longest winning streak at 74 games. They will be opposed by Brad Rutter, who has won the most money in Jeopardy history due to his number of tournament wins. Rutter first appeared on Jeopardy in 2000, when Jeopardy limited returning champions to five games. Rutter has since won a number of major Jeopardy tournaments, including the Ultimate Tournament of Champions.Rutter has the distinction of being the only Jeopardy contestant to go undefeated against human competition (Rutter and Jennings both lost to an IBM computer in a special competition). A teacher’s aide at a Parma, Ohio, school is taking time during the holidays to give free haircuts to students during study hall.Nerjes Taweel, 21, is a licensed cosmetologist and instructional aide at Summit Academy, now combining her two passions to help out students as they head off on break. “I enjoy it because you get to see their reaction after you do the transformation,” Taweel said. “It just makes you feel good when they feel good.”Taweel works out of a school conference room converted into a pop-up salon, complete with clippers, capes, scissors and hairstyling essentials. Since November, she has given haircuts to more than 40 students and has dozens more “appointments” to go before winter break.“The last couple days I’ll start a little bit earlier so I can make sure everyone goes to Christmas break happy with how their hairstyle is,” Taweel said.The haircuts are completely free for students, which some say is a huge help for them and their families.In addition to the teaching and haircuts, Taweel is currently pursuing a degree in social work at Cleveland State University. 1110
