Republicans won the state during presidential elections of the 1980s: 1980, 1984 and 1988. Then Democrats won it in the 1990s and 2000s: 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012 – until Republicans won it once again in 2016.That’s not the only Rust Belt state that’s gone back and forth, so has Ohio, with 18 electoral votes.“I'm telling you, I kind of like what Trump's doing," said Ohio voter Charles Krumel. In Toledo, Ohio – months before election day, voters are already paying attention to the issues.“Most important thing is keeping the stock market up for us retired people, keeping social security for us retired people and keeping the economy going," said Alan Morse, another Ohio voter.Back in Scranton, Pennsylvania, there are similar concerns, but one trumps it all.“The coronavirus,” Owens said. “Just to get everybody on the same page in the country. To start, the fully autonomous cars will only give rides to Waymo's employees and confine their routes to roads in its home town of Mountain View, California, and four neighboring Silicon Valley cities — Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Palo Alto.If all goes well, Waymo will then seek volunteers who want to be transported in fully autonomous vehicles, similar to its early rider program in Arizona . (KGTV) — One man was killed in a shooting involving a Border Patrol officer Friday near the Las Americas Premium Outlets.Just before 6 p.m., a Border Patrol agent assigned to the San Diego Sector shot an unidentified 30-year-old man in the area of Dairy Mart Rd. and Camino De La Plaza, close to the international border, according to Aaron Heitke, Chief Patrol Agent with United States Border Patrol in San Diego.Heitke said the man was illegally trying to enter the U.S. west of the San Ysidro Port of Entry.During the arrest, an altercation between the man and agent began, during which the agent fired his service weapon, striking the man in the torso, according to Heitke. The details surrounding what led to the fight haven’t been released at this time.The agent received minor injuries, according to San Diego Police. That agent is not being identified at this time, police added.At about 6:25 p.m., first responders pronounced the man dead, Heitke added. The victim has been identified but his name was not released. He was described as an adult Mexican national.SDPD officers were also called to the scene. Border Patrol told ABC 10News that SDPD will be handling the investigation.After SDPD's Homicide Unit completes its investigation, the U.S. Attorney's Office will review the case. It was so thin and it was stringy and I was just sick," said Erin Ostby, a military spouse who used and sold Monat products.Women like Ostby say they watched their hopes for beautiful, healthy hair wash down the drain after using Monat."It's devastating!" said Heather Fox, a customer in Phoenix."I had bald spots in the back of my hair," reported Amber Alabaster of Oklahoma City.Autumn Thomas, a mother in Canada, sent pictures of her 2-year-old son's abrupt and acute hair loss. She included a doctor's diagnosis tying it, as well as pain and redness on the scalp, directly to Monat shampoo.  Fox used it on her son too."And right away he had a reaction to his scalp. He had big, red, open sores throughout his scalp. It was really itchy." As a salesperson, Ostby is what the company calls a Market Partner.  "I have over 100 people in my downline -- customers and Market Partners. I reached up to my W-2 said five figures in those eight months in additional income. So realizing what was happening was a hard pill to swallow."Her decision to stop selling Monat didn't come easily."I was crying to my husband," she recalls. "I was vacuuming every day because I was losing so much hair. And I think I was in denial. I didn't want to believe it was the product."All three women say their Market Partners told them that it was a problem with them and they needed top go to their doctor."I had a full panel done, blood work, everything," Fox said."And there was nothing that pointed to a reason -- besides product use -- of why I lost my hair," Ostby said.They and consumers who complained online were told it was normal and part of a detox process documented in the company's own sales literature.  "We no longer do that. SANTA BARBARA (KGTV) - Mandatory storm evacuation orders were lifted Tuesday morning for areas burned in Santa Barbara County's fires.Residents of some vulnerable communities were ordered to leave Monday night by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.By Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service determined the critical levels of rain did not arrive, lowering the risk of debris flow.The SBCSO said several weather systems are due in the area this week but none appear to be a mudslide hazard.Evacuation and debris flow maps will be updated as needed, the SBCSO said. 593
