TEXAS — A 78-year-old man has confessed to 90 killings, and investigators are saying he could be one of the most prolific serial killers in U.S. history.Samuel Little is currently being held in a Texas prison. Investigators have confirmed 34 cases so far, and the FBI said in a news release Tuesday that more are pending confirmation. The killings Little has claimed responsibility for include a black female in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1974 and a white female in Covington, Kentucky in 1984, according to the FBI. Little said he met that second victim in Columbus, Ohio and disposed of her body somewhere in Northern Kentucky. Neither of those confessions had been corroborated by law enforcement as of Nov. 15.The women Little confessed to killing turned up dead between 1970 and 2005 in states from coast to coast, according to the FBI.  863

TEMECULA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The United States Geological Survey is reporting that an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.4 struck near Temecula. According to the USGS, the quake hit around 6:24 p.m. roughly 20 miles east of Temecula. A 3.0 magnitude aftershock hit the same area at 6:53 p.m. Residents of the town reported feeling the quake. According to the USGS "did you feel it" map, residents all over San Diego and Orange Counties felt the earthquake. Area businesses reported feeling shaking. Tesla on Thursday recalled about 123,000 Model S sedans, asking customers with cars built before April of 2016 to have their power steering bolts replaced.A Tesla spokesperson said the company has observed "excessive corrosion" of the part in some cold climates where a certain type of road salt is used.No injuries or accidents have been reported in connection with the issue, the spokesperson said.A Tesla spokesperson said that if the bolts fail, the driver should still be able to control the vehicle. The issue can make the car more difficult to steer at low speeds and to parallel park, and it should "not materially affect control at high speed."The company sent out emails to Model S owners who have cars included in the recall.The Model S has been lauded for its safety ratings, but news of this recall comes at a rough time for Tesla.Its stock price has plunged more than 25% over the past month. Investors are worried about the startup's ability to deliver on its first mass-market car, the Model 3, which has been plagued by manufacturing woes.Tesla's stock sank nearly 4% during after-hours trading Thursday after news broke about the Model S recall. 1171
