The punch got Gratz's attention, and Gratz was able to point the woman in the right direction, but the incident left Gratz stunned. He was euthanized under the recommendation of the attending veterinarian.Harliss was third both a quarter-mile and three-eighths of a mile in the 5 1/2-furlong race on Santa Anita's turf course, then dropped to fourth entering the stretch. He was coming off the lone victory in his 12-race career, finishing first in a 5 1/2-furlong race on Los Alamitos Race Course on Dec. 6.Harliss was trained by Val Brinkerhoff. His career earnings were ,026.A necropsy will be performed as required by the California Horse Racing Board.The death was the second among the 705 horses who have raced at Santa Anita's winter/spring meeting, which began Dec. 28. The deferral period runs from Sept. 1 through Dec. 31.2. You may not qualifyThe deferral is available only to employees whose pretax wages or compensation is generally less than ,000 biweekly, which works out to around 0,000 a year. And currently it doesn’t apply to people who are self-employed, notes Pete Isberg, vice president of government relations at human resources services firm ADP.3. The taxes are due eventually“This is a deferral of taxes, not a forgiveness of taxes,” says Michael Graetz, a tax law professor at Columbia University Law School in New York. “So at the end of the deferral period, all of those taxes will be owed unless Congress changes the law to say that they’re forgiven.”4.
