The Miami Dolphins waived second-year running back Mark Walton after he was arrested Tuesday morning, with police accusing him of repeatedly punching the mother of his unborn child in the face.An officer responded to a residence in the Miami suburb of Davie around 4:15 a.m. and learned that Walton had been in an argument with a woman, according to a police report.The woman was five weeks pregnant, the report said, and had told Walton on Sunday that the child was his."During the course of the argument, Walton pushed (the woman) against a wall and punched her several times in the face and head. I observed (the woman) to have swelling on her left eye," the responding Davie officer wrote in his report. The victim's name was redacted in the report.Walton is charged with aggravated assault on a pregnant woman, the report says. Walton remained in the Broward County Jail, pending a Wednesday hearing that would determine his bond status.Walton's attorney, Michael Gottlieb, said he spoke with his client Tuesday. He told CNN, "I don't believe Mr. Walton is guilty of the charges as alleged."In a statement, the Dolphins said they waived Walton."We were made aware of a police matter earlier this morning regarding Mark Walton," Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said. THE BRONX — Police say a man working on a transformer has been killed near an Amtrak rail line in in the Bronx Thursday morning, authorities said.Authorities were called to the scene after 11 a.m.MTA officials said the incident occurred at an Amtrak facility. The facility is located nearby a Con Edison Van Nest substation.FDNY officials confirmed one person was dead and two others sustained minor injuries. TEMPLE, Texas — Temple police want to know who threw a rock off a railroad overpass Saturday night, resulting in the death of a 33-year old woman in Texas.Investigators say it happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday night as Keila Ruby Flores and her family of five traveled northbound on Interstate 35 between exits 303 and 305 in Texas.Police say someone threw a rock from the overpass to the interstate below, hitting Flores' car, breaking the windshield and hitting Flores, who sat in the front passenger seat.Officers responded to an unknown injury call near the 2600 block of I-35 and Belair Drive where they found Flores and her family.Paramedics took Flores to Baylor, Scott and White Hospital, where she died of her injuries at 10:32 a.m. on Sunday. An autopsy will determine her exact cause of death.Detectives have no information on a suspect and ask anyone who may have seen anything to call Temple police, or Bell County Crime Stoppers. 959
