MURRIETA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The contractor involved in Monday’s deadly gas explosion in Murrieta did not call 811 as required by law, according to officials. One SoCalGas worker was killed in the explosion and more than a dozen people were injured. If a homeowner or contractor plans to do any digging into the ground, there must be a call placed to 811 two working days in advance, according to state law. Investigators say a solar company was working on the Murrieta home when the explosion occurred. That company, Horizon Solar Power, would not specifically address the incident. A spokesperson told Team 10: “Yesterday, four members of our team were at the site of a residential explosion in Murrieta. We are working with authorities and collecting facts to better understand what happened. Our primary thoughts are with the people who were injured and their families, including with the family of the person who lost his life.”An SDG&E spokesperson said 811 must be called for projects including landscaping, fence, and patio projects. MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Authorities are investigating what exactly caused a plane to land on the freeway in the Bay Area Sunday morning, according to The Mercury News. The plane landed on Highway 101 near Morgan Hill around 11 a.m. The plane blocked one lane of the highway before authorities were able to tow it away.The Federal Aviation Administration said engine failure caused the emergency landing.Only the pilot was onboard and was uninjured, authorities confirmed. NASHVILLE, Tenn. — AT&T said crews have made significant progress restoring service to the region on Sunday morning following an explosion on Friday morning outside an AT&T data center.The explosion impacted widespread service interruption reaching outside of just Middle Tennessee. On Sunday morning, the company said power has been restored to four floors of the building and more than 65% of mobile sites affected by the explosion have been restored. More than three feet of water was pumped out of the building's basement on Saturday, however, access to some of the lowers is still limited. AT&T said on Sunday crews will be adding additional cabling and more generators to provide more power into the building to help with restoration efforts."Teams are working to safely bring additional equipment online and reroute services through other facilities in the region. While mobility services have been restored in many areas, we still have more than 17 portable cell sites on the air to aid in communication, including for restoration teams and first responders," AT&T said in an update. "We are bringing in additional resources to support the recovery of wireline voice and data services and expect to have a fleet of 24 additional trailers of disaster recovery equipment on-site by the end of the day."The company did not provide an exact time when it expects service to fully be restored. MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers say a man illegally entered Miller Park and caused minor damage to the playing field Tuesday morning. Brewers officials say he was apprehended by law enforcement shortly after gaining access to the field. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Keyon A.
