Former Penn State football player Isaiah Humphries has filed a federal lawsuit, claiming that other members of Penn State’s football team hazed him and the coaching staff was aware of it, ESPN reported. Humphries’ suit is against Penn State head coach James Franklin and former teammate Damion Barber. Humphries claimed that other teammates, including Barber, Micah Parsons, Yetur Gross-Matos, Jesse Luketa brought on the hazing, ESPN reported. Among the allegations, ESPN reported that Humphries alleged that players “facilitated a campaign to harass and haze underclassmen” on the team. Humphries claimed that a member of the team said "I am going to Sandusky you."Jerry Sandusky was a former Penn State coach convicted of sexually abusing children while on university property. Many university officials, including former head coach Joe Paterno were fired in the wake of the Sandusky scandal.Penn State released a statement to ESPN noting that no charges were filed. "The university has established processes in place for responding to claims of potential misconduct. In accordance with our processes, the Office of Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response and the Office of Student Conduct carried out investigations of the plaintiff's claims independent from Intercollegiate Athletics," the school said. "In addition, Penn State police investigated related allegations and forwarded the results of that investigation to the Office of the Centre County District Attorney. For the fourth time in just over a week, losses by the Dow Jones Industrial Average triggered a circuit-breaker.The Dow had dropped 7 percent by early afternoon Wednesday, and trading was halted for 15 minutes.At the time of the trading halt, the Dow had fallen below where it had been when President Donald Trump was inaugurated in January 2017.The drop came after futures fell sharply overnight, signaling a tough day ahead for markets.By the end of the day, the Dow leveled off, closing down 6.3% for the day, losing 1,333 points from yesterday's totals. FORT STEWART, Ga. – Three soldiers were killed Sunday morning when the vehicle they were riding in was involved in a training accident at the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield. The three 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team soldiers were pronounced dead at the scene and three other soldiers were transported to Winn Army Community Hospital to be treated and evaluated for their injuries, according to the Georgia airfield. The US Army on Monday identified the three soldiers killed during a training accident.The three deceased soldiers are Sgt. 1st Class Bryan Jenkins, 41, of Gainesville, Florida, Cpl. Thomas Walker, 22, of Ohio, and Pfc. Antonio Garcia, 21, of Arizona. All three were part of the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team. Officials say the soldiers were riding in a Bradley Fighting Vehicle when the accident happened. “Today is a heartbreaking day for the 3rd Infantry Division, and the entire Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield community, as we are all devastated after a training accident this morning on the Fort Stewart Training Area,” said Maj. Gen. Tony Aguto, commanding general of the 3rd Infantry Division. “We are extremely saddened by the loss of three Dogface Soldiers, and injuries to three more. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families affected by this tragedy."The incident is under investigation and names of the soldiers involved in the accident are expected to be released after next-of-kin are notified.
