BEIJING, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- China on Monday called for a ceasefire, resumption of peace talks and humanitarian assistance in Syria as soon as possible, as the UN security council held an emergency meeting on Sunday.
Li made the statement while addressing the Summit for Refugees and Migrants of the ongoing UN General Assembly that opened earlier last week.
