SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Hundreds of thousands of San Diego County workers are facing the prospect of fewer hours, lower paychecks, and even job loss.The workers are in the retail, leisure, and hospitality fields, which in all employs more than 350,000 workers in the region. The squeeze comes as restrictions increase related to the coronavirus, including a 30-day travel ban from Europe, a county ban on events of 250 or more people, and cancellations of major conventions. Newsom will make a stop at Dana Middle School at 8 a.m. as part of his statewide get-out-the-vote tour.
