Four people in attendance at Republican National Convention events in Charlotte this week have tested positive for COVID-19, according to officials in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.In its daily release of COVID-19 data, the county said that two attendees and two people support staff members tested positive for the virus. The four people were "immediately issued isolation instructions," and those who had contact with those infected were also told to isolate.About 800 people in town for the RNC were tested for COVID-19, the country reported.While most of the convention was held virtually this year, Charlotte did host a few RNC events in the city this week. The roll call vote was centered in Charlotte, with some delegates submitting their votes virtually. Both President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence gave speeches Monday in front of about 300 delegates at the Charlotte Convention Center.North Carolina has mandated that masks be worn in indoor public spaces, and RNC leaders agreed to enforce the mandate at the convention. However, county health officials reported to the Charlotte Observer that some in attendance were not wearing masks.President Donald Trump delivered his convention speech in front of about 1,000 supporters on the White House lawn on Thursday. Most of those in attendance were not wearing a mask. (AP) -- Police in Flagstaff say a group of teens killed a 23-year-old man after he allegedly inappropriately touched one of the girls involved in the killing.Flagstaff police said on Friday that Jaron James was found dead on Sept. 7 and that four teens, including two who are underage, have been arrested.Police say James was killed at a motel and that the suspects knew him. They say the group attacked James after he touched one of the suspects, a 16-year-old girl from Flagstaff.Eighteen-year-old Lawrence Sampson-Kahn and 19-year-old Kayson Russell are among the four arrested. Following President Donald Trump's rally in West Virginia on Tuesday evening, Aerosmith's frontman Steven Tyler was not pleased that the president used an Aerosmith song before the rally. On Wednesday, a rep for Tyler sent Trump a cease and desist letter to stop using Tyler's music during rallies, according to a copy of the letter obtained by CNN reporter Jim Acosta. The letter was filed by the LaPolt Law firm in West Hollywood, Calif. “By using ‘Livin’ On The Edge’ without our client’s permission, Mr. Trump is falsely implying that our client, once again, endorses his campaign and/or his presidency, as evidenced by actual confusion seen from the reactions of our client’s fans all over social media,” the letter stated.The letter indicates that Aerosmith has previously sent Trump orders to stop using the band's music. On Tuesday, "Livin' On The Edge" was played before the president appeared on stage. “What makes this violation even more egregious is that Mr. Trump’s use of our client’s music was previously shut down, not once, but two times, during his campaign for presidency,” the letter states.Tyler is not the only artist who has sent Trump a letter ordering him to stop playing their music at rallies. FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A Florida appeals court has ruled that police violated the rights of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and others when they secretly video recorded them paying for massage parlor sex acts.The decision Wednesday by the 4th District Court of Appeal bars the tapes' use at trial and could deal a potentially deadly blow to the prosecution.The court decided that Kraft’s rights were violated under the 4th Amendment to the Constitution, which protects against unreasonable searches and seizures.
