CHULA VISTA (CNS) - After initially rescheduling concerts -- including a Chula Vista appearance -- while he recovers from surgery, rocker Ozzy Osbourne announced Thursday he has been forced to postpone all of the remaining North American shows on his "No More Tours 2" tour until next year.Osbourne was originally set to perform at the Mattress Firm Amphitheatre on Tuesday, but the show was pushed back until Oct. 18 because he was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for infections on his right hand. (KGTV) — Chula Vista Police have identified a woman who was found shot to death in a field earlier this month.Police said 23-year-old Christina Garcia was found on Aug. 5 at about 6:30 a.m. in a field near the 3100 block of Main Street. (KGTV) - Surveillance video shows a woman at the front door of a home in Chula Vista doing a face-plant to avoid police.Along Paseo Burga, Lillie Utz got an unexpected visitor outside her front door as she was sewing Christmas presents on Saturday afternoon.Through a window, Utz saw a woman racing back and forth in her front yard. Turns out neighbors had seen the same woman running in and out of yards. At least one of them had called police. Soon after, video shows a woman at Utz's front door. I was about six feet away sewing," said Utz. In the video, the woman can't get in, so she kneels and hides. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Authorities have identified the law enforcement officers involved in a deadly South Bay shooting in early October.Authorities say Sgt. John Holm, and officers Pakko Mendez, Javier Mendoza, and Lauren Chi with the California Highway Patrol were all involved.Sgt. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Faith leaders and business owners in Chula Vista attended a training Monday night to learn how to plan and prepare for an active shooter threat. Chula Vista police lieutenant, Dan Peak, tells 10News the department received several calls after the Poway Synagogue shooting, asking officers how they could stay safe in the event of an active shooter at their place of worship or business. Chula Vista Police Sergeant, Mike Varga, provided the training for the community. Varga's presentation included a history of active shooters, red flags to look out for, and what to do if you find yourself in an active shooter situation. His advice in that situation is to run, hide or fight. During the presentation, Varga played a 9-minute video detailing exactly what one can do to survive a shooting. Varga also told the audience to listen to their intuition, meaning if someone is displaying red flags, alert the police and let investigators decide whether or not there is a threat.
