A canceled chase in Akron, Ohio ended in a two-car crash with both drivers being arrested on warrants, according to police.Police said the crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday at an intersection.Police said they got behind a red Hyundai that was stolen and tried to pull the driver over when he took off. The driver reached speeds of around 80 mph when a supervisor canceled the chase. Police said the driver continued to accelerate and 30 seconds later they found the car crashed. The Hyundai hit a minivan and then a pole, a fire hydrant, another pole, before eventually coming to rest next door to an Akron fire station. The Hyundai was shredded in the crash leaving its trunk lid in a parking lot, part of its door wrapped around a traffic light pole and a wheel a hundred feet away.The driver of the stolen Hyundai had warrants and will be taken to jail after he is released from the hospital with what police say are minor injuries.The driver of the minivan was also a wanted felon and he will also be arrested after he is released from the hospital with what police say were minor injuries.  1131

A Georgia woman spent three months in jail after two deputies said a field test of a blue substance found in a car she was in turned up positive for methamphetamine.But it wasn't meth. It was cotton candy.Dasha Fincher claims that while she was in jail she missed several major life events, including the birth of twin grandchildren, and was refused medical care for a broken hand and ovarian cyst.Now she's filed a lawsuit against Monroe County and the three officers involved for wrongful imprisonment and violating her civil rights. The lawsuit also targets Sirchie Acquisition Company, the maker of the field kit the deputies used to produce the mistaken test result. 679

A Los Angeles coroner says rapper Mac Miller died from a mixture of some pretty heavy drugs. The rapper died two months ago and his autopsy shows the combination of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol is what killed him.Miller was 26 years old and a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A Las Vegas family is dealing with a bunny multiplying nightmare.There are so many bunnies they have to divvy them up and block them off in different rooms of their house to stop them from reproducing.Kerryann Curtin and her family got Thumper, the male bunny, a couple years ago. More recently, they were gifted what they thought was another boy bunny."They swore it was a boy, the breeder said it was a boy!" said Kerryann's sister Kathleen Curtin-Coble.But to their surprise Brandon the new bunny was a girl. They changed her name to Brandy.Brandy had nine bunnies September 14, 2017. She had seven more a month later and seven more a month after that. That's 23 bunnies in just three months."Even before you know they had babies, they are pregnant again," said Curtin-Coble.On March 22, one of Brandy's baby bunnies had six babies and a few weeks later had three more.The Curtin family has adopted out 21 bunnies on their own but they need help with at least 11 more.They've asked just about everyone for help but no one can help them."We've called Arizona, Utah, California, and every sanctuary in Nevada that we could find," said Curtin-Coble. A driver was life-flighted to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center after leading troopers on a chase that caused him to miss a stop sign, before going airborne in Medina County on Wednesday morning.Troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a white 2009 Mazda 6 for a speed violation of going 76 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone on US 42 near Grafton Road.Authorities said the driver attempted to get away from troopers by traveling westbound on Grafton Road in Medina County when he missed the stop sign at Marks Road, causing him to go airborne for about the length of a football field. The car cut off the top of two trees that were about 15-20 feet in the air before coming to a stop in a front yard.The driver sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities said alcohol is suspected at this time, but it's unclear why the driver was evading police. 942
